Jo doesn’t really need much of an introduction considering she's been a mainstay in the Australian scene for a long time now, and for very good reason, but I'll do it anyway :) Her ability to spellbind with smooth genre blends with style and ease never ceases to amaze me.  She floats between dubstep, dnb, bass, techno & beyond.

Originally from Boorloo (Perth), she has been based in Melbourne/ Naarm for a decade, playing at the nation's biggest festivals & events, and having a hand in Camp Doogs (Perth) & Dooj (Melbourne). Beyond playing regularly in Melb/ Perth/ Australia, her divine DJ skills have traversed the oceans to the US & Europe.

So happy to have her as part of the series ahead of her 11pm-1am set at the Animalia x Temporal Cast party this weekend before Perko. Hope to see you all there :)

Aqui el mix que grabé en el estudio de dublab cuando viajé a Los Ángeles en diciembre. Menudo viajecico curioso y poca broma el jetlag que tuve a la vuelta estuve agilipollao por lo menos dos semanas.
El mix es una horita de dub, triphop y beats jazzeros a bajas revoluciones. La música que más disfruto escuchando en mi día a día. Tenía un catarro del copón cuando lo grabé pero estuve super agustico.

Yōsuke’s creative output is as eclectic as it is captivating. They are, among many other things, a visual artist, music maker, community icon, and DJ. They’re the force behind the legendary renegade Concrète, and the host of Soft Focus on Great Circles Radio. They have done large projection installation projects for various events, including multiple installments for the chilled-out, experimental/experiential Spindrift. I am a huge fan and am totally grateful to finally have them on the program!
