Aimed at providing a different insight into dance music the label Special place provides both acoustic and electronic sounds that are not sonically linked to a specific era, but all carry a shamanic or esoteric hinge. This EP is just that with the three amazing artists Mushrooms Project, Longhair and Eric Duncan all bringing their own take to this leftfield slomo disco to house vibe. It’s an honor to have them on board!

You gotta love Eric Duncan. Such a laidback, fun and easy going chap! After having turned NY upside down he currently resides in Bali when he's not touring amidst the pandemic. He actually remixed this track whilst in Brazil (how does he do that?). He probably has the vastest collection of selfies with DJ Harvey if this means anything. Berlin based Longhair has a string of releases on labels such as Bordello A Parrigi, Permanent Vacation or Love On the Rocks. He actually does sport long hair and probably has a third ear for turning music into untameable beat dance fury. And what about our hosts Mushrooms Project? Well they paved a solid catalogue with their characteristic shamanic house music releases, go check out for yourself!

He grew up in the Netherlands within a Turkish-Arab family, where he would rather play his self-made mix CD's than his fathers Turkish & Arabic cassette tapes. 
Now he grew to embrace his cultural heritage and can find himself well in the current culture of edits of Arabic disco classics, which he effortlessly blends with raw rave and fresh electronica.''

We have to change, change your heart, remove mercantile spirit from it, we are in danger of extinction. Almost all professions and businesses have “nullified," but people are still callous, greedy and we are united by one thing - complete unpreparedness for a new reality. And yet, we all must finally understand how dear we are to each other, to start taking care of ourselves, all those people around us and the world in which we live and keep our hearts open.
