For this month's edition, I have a very special guest taking over for the first hour of the show. He is a very dear friend of mine, talented Dj & music selector, always inspiring me through his heavy, noisy, broken, melodic & disturbed sounds. 
His name is Jehia, hailing from Egypt and now based in Barcelona, he prepared a one of a kind journey for you tonight. 
Between dark & rythmic tensions, he makes us dive into a trippy wormhole.

Second hour of the show will be from myself, DjSport, taking you for a ride into downtempo, bass, breaks and jungle sounds selection, for a lighter workout than usual, balancing energies between first and second part of the show.

The LP, mostly inspired by Ursula L Guins Earthsea, follows the narrative of a shadow/gebbeth stalking oneself and trying to overpower the phases of one submitting to & resisting it. Susu's voice demonstrates the gebbeth, using her voice as an instrument, representing it in various proximities but also at times it represents the soul in various states responding to the gebbeth. The backing and verse then operate as a call and response between the gebbeth and the soul. Many lyrics are inspired and formed from a Persian book of poetry and the cut-up technique style within it. Her trademark dark & harrowing sound is prominent throughout, taking influence from dabke rhythms.

Extra Muros - Czech Republic is the result of the fourth edition of FLEE's creative residency program which took place in December 2022 on the dance floor of Prague's most infamous nightclub Ankali.

For two weeks on wooden floor, and under a yellow-tinted skylight, the room usually filled with movement and vibrations became home to six musicians and producers from the Czech Republic and all over the world who came together to experiment on new sounds, inspired by a large variety of artistic environments and soundscapes.

Documenting from various perspectives the music production process, capturing those exchanges, this compilation celebrates a unique form of artistic expression and collaboration.
