After spending most of the summer locked away in a studio somewhere in France, M.A.D.E.S is back and ready for action with the first single from his upcoming debut LP (out winter 2018).

“Nightkiller” is a dark, riff driven, yet melodic Synthwave original song dealing with the themes of nightmares, murder and things that go bumping in the night, showcasing the French artist’s ability to create atmosphere and narrate his own stories through his music. A suspenseful drive through neon lit scenery leading into some pretty unfortunate results for the protagonists, as the accompanying music video very successfully depicts.

But that’s not all because M.A.D.E.S has even brought in some reinforcements too, with Denmark’s dark Synthwave powerhouse Daniel Deluxe and the incredibly talented newcomer Wice remixing “Nightkiller” and delivering their own versions of M.A.D.E.S’ original.

Thank My Lucky Stars

Maelzel is a band from Orléans (Fr) which style is between synthwave and electro-pop. After a discreet solo work, Vince (keyboards) no longer enjoyed contemplating the lights of the city alone, and sought for an acolyte to promote the good word of "synth" music. In 2015, Victor (guitar) joined him adding an extra color to the set. Since then, the two companions have been working their titles and style to diffuse good waves, based on synthesizer solos and stellar guitar sounds. In 2017, Mélodie joins the duo after an adventure with No sign, Nothing, and thus completes Maelzel by bringing her voice. Their first EP was released in November 2017 and is available on all music platforms.
