An introspective project which literally taught me how to rap. This offering was written and recorded at a time where I was timid, mic-shy and on a pursuit of approval. I'm proud to have left such a dark time with such an uplifting project, I needed to unlock this so I can really tap into making the music I like. I hope you like it too.

This song is equivalent to that little light you see while you've been in huge hole for long. It is dark yet the purpose is to ignite your spirit and enlighten your vision. My vision was disturbed for a while until I came across a very lonely time of my life where friends were nowhere to be found, I had to see everything for myself, by myself and it was actually working at some point. I learned to deal with things internally. I self distructed and I self constructed. I hope you relate. I hope you heal. This one is for the one who were done dirty but never claimed victim. This ones for my villains.

This is a track inspired by my struggles with MDD. I wrote it on a hospital bed after yet another attempt at taking my own life. Inspired by the trials I read about in Maya Angelous life. I was moved to write a small list of reasons why I caged bird might want to still sing. Why I keep writing.
