I'd been looking for an instrumental version of this track since I first saw this film a while ago, and I was recently pleasantly surprised to discover that a proper release of the original score was done, years after the movie came out.
This particular track triggers great feelings in me that I can't really explain, it's just beautifully melancholy.

To comprehend such a thing nowadays it’s crucial to have a soundtrack, and this episode of FHUO from the Daisy Records crew is the perfect accompaniment to refill the oxygen tanks. Frankifettucini & Obelix have created something truly special in this two-hour time frame, a magical trip through the sky, hopping from cloud to cloud, chasing a never-ending sunset. 

This mix is a true masterclass in immersion, which is what you would expect from two music nuts who run an incredible record store, as well as releases under the Daisy Records sub-label and curated events that really showcase what Naarm has to offer. „Periferia“ is a collection of soundscape sequences, processing these themes, emotions & memories. The resulting sonic ambience is embellished with samples and drum patterns inspired by genres like idm, dancehall, trip-hop, breakcore and jungle, albeit merged and re-contextualised.
