From synth pop to hip-hop, Beanstalk explores a range of genres, both on stage and in the studio. The project consists of Ann Arbor grown artist Riley Bean and any number of guest artists. He draws inspiration from artists across the board including New Order, Daft Punk, Beach House, and Al Green. BeansTalk's percussion roots come through in his produced beats as well as subtly in his more melodic tunes. As a drummer, Riley gigged with indie rock group The Paths  across the midwest and at events like SXSW. He also works with mediation music and is developing a set of free tracks for people on this wavelength.

Songwriter, Producer, Improviser, Teacher, Southpaw, Musician, Traveler, Avid looper! Cause & Effect has been looping instruments and sounds for fun for a decade and now with his improvised, jam,psychedelic dance sets- it guarantees a different and original experience for the listener each time. Starting off as just a DJ in Detroit Michigan mixing his own beats for local Strange Luv events, Cause and Effect wanted to take a different path with his stage performance and decided to just loop everything live and start organically creating songs on the spot within Ableton live 9 with an APC40, electric guitar, microphone, and midi keyboard. Since Cause and Effect has had opportunities to take his act to new levels opening up for incredible local bands, and national headliners such as Jay Murphy of Up Until Now, The Fungineers, Anasia, Super Dre, and also performing at out of state music festivals with some of his idols such as Trey Anastatio, Umphreys McGee and Keller Williams! With the momentum Cause and Effect has built in the last few years, the future is certainly bright for this avid instrument looper. Keep an eye out for C&E coming to your town real soon.
