Amniote Editions teams up with Mala Junta to release “The Collective Capsule” in celebration of 5th anniversary of Berlin’s favourite queer event.

“The Collective Capsule” is a celebration and tribute to the unique Mala Junta and it’s impact on Berlin’s vibrant contemporary queer scene as well as a reflection of the core principles of these two collectives, which serve as a mirror for the society we want to push forward.

The package features a 12″ vinyl record composed of 4 tracks from Mala Junta’s residents Hyperaktivist, Yazzus, DJ Tool, and D.Dan, as well as two compilations featuring Roza Terenzi, Jensen Interceptor, Mohajer, Peachlyfe, Francois X, Narciss to name a few..

The Collective Capsule Compilation Vol. 2 emerges on Amniote Editions on 15th September.

The bareback B side breaks rules and regulations; leading you to high-tech temptation, fast and furious with an explosive temper that can’t be tamed. 

Tickling the rim of electro and bass yet ditching the doctrine, Loose Lips Sink Ships is a take-no-prisoners secret source of dancefloor dopamine, the sleek modern rendition of a ritualistic beatdown destined to weave motifs together and breed atmosphere. 
It takes 2 to techno, but these are the number 1 drum degenerates of the future wave party starters.

Maara’s out to make mischief with the wryly titled ‘Hear Me Neigh’.  

Whether that title’s in reference to a certain equine dissociative or purely a love letter to our majestic, four-legged friends, well, we’ll leave that for you to decide. Either way, the prolific prog house luminary lends her Midas touch to four equally deadly traxxx.  
Following last year’s ‘Fancy Feast’ EP comes another proper dose of heads-down hedonism. It’s an eagerly-awaited return to the Kalakari fold, and true to form, opener ‘The Horse Track’ comes hurtling into the first furlong at full pelt. Big equestrian NRG packing some seriously rugged heft and neighing samples aplenty. Then, bringing more of that insistent throb, ‘Juicy Tracksuit’ is no less alluring or propulsive, albeit while channelling some Y2K aesthetic.   

There’s more of that turn-of-the-century flex on the next one too. Evoking Love Parade circa 1999, ‘God Save The Bender’ deploys scything hard trance flourishes while opening a portal to the fractal realm. And finally, ‘Sheela Na Gig’ lands dripping with more of the seductive appeal that has become Maara’s hallmark.

So here I am, trying to bottle an elusive yet playful vibe. “Chemistry” is a wild ride through different worlds: the first half is like a bright, sunny beach party. The second half? Total transformation. Now, you find yourself in a sultry, neon-lit club. You get me?

“Chemistry” draws you into a day-to-night saga. It’s a love story just as summer is flapping its wings towards us – this is all, for now. I’ll see you on the dancefloor and who knows, there might be a new chemical reaction when this one drops at 01:29am.

Baraka returns with a fresh Rock infused EP named Psycho. Six new songs blending big beat, drum’n bass and trance with their touch of madness. A powerful piece shaped for the live with a nameless energy from start to finish. Psycho dives the duo into a new sonic and visual universe in which they reveal their alter egos. A more sharpened and distorted sound that would transform a concert hall into a dance floor or build up a club's energy to the level of a punk show. The first single going by the same name is supported by a remix from acclaimed dj and producer Roza Terenzi. A way for the duo to push the boundaries of their music and give it a real club aspect, trademark of the band. The full EP is set to be released on September 19th with a release party at La Station Gare des Mines in Paris that same day. The duo will perform their new music for the first time, surrounded by prestigious guests.

DOG002 comes baring three repetitious delights. Drummy and danceable girl noise crafted from the hands of label owner, Mabel, for the second EP of Doglandiya. Twisted funk, psychedelic basslines, and hypnotic aural anecdotes weave the fabric of this release. Each sound sways into a trance, a lullaby to the conscious mind and a groove dealer to eager bodies. 

Girl Noise includes a rework of Dionysus, an unreleased track created at the start of 2023 and featured throughout sets of that year. Dionysus is the Greek god of ritual madness, religious ecstasy, wine, pleasure, and partying. An appropriate mascot for dance music. His appearances throughout Greek mythology represent the animalistic part of us that’s hungry for pleasure. He is an agent of catharsis.
