It all began for David back in 2009 when he invested in his first set of decks, who knew then where he would be 4 years later. 

Putting all of his ambition and determination into djing, it surely started paying off for him a lot quicker than he had thought, clocking up gigs with major clubnites and festivals around Ireland in a matter of a year making his first debut as a newcomer at the massive Blackout under his dj name then – Nu Clear.

David smashed the floors of Joy Festival 2011 in Drogheda – Ireland’s biggest indoor festival at the time, rubbing shoulders and warming up for the likes of Showtek, Kidd Kaos, Alex Kidd and Argy but to name but a few. Taking to the fame and crowd pleasing like a duck takes to water, David went on to be named as ‘One to watch out for’ in the Irish Dance scene after putting together his very own clubnite – Saviour Clubnite back in 2012 which was based in his hometown of Drogheda. He made sure to bring only the finest of dance music acts including Argy, Kidd Kaos and Amber D. 

Bringing a new lease of life to dance floors and stark raving mad fans up and down the country, his name was beginning to spread like wild fire!

Not only that, but he followed on to warm up for some major talents including Zany,Aly & Fila,Scot Project,Bryan Kearney,Kutski,D-Block &S-Te-Fan, Tuneboy, Organ Donors, Paul Glazby, Dark by Design, Fergie, Sean Tyas to name a few!


So let’s fast forward to more recent times! David managed to full fill one of his life-time ambitions this summer, after being added to a series of dance nights in Ibiza; David flew over to the Tropi Trance Bar where he stepped away from his harder norms to bang out some serious trance with the one and only Legendary Lady of Hard Dance that is Amber D.

With plenty of bookings in the making, he also prides himself on his new ventures into the world of producing and also in talks with commencing his very own podcasts, cleverly entitled: David Murphy & Guests, which will include mixes from many Irish and U.K upcoming and rising talents. First guest mix will be courtesy of Amber D of course 

This is a must as he can barely contain his excitement of making his U.K debut early next year 2014.
