Xpresso Martina (Charlot van Heeswijk) is a queer newcomer DJ based in Berlin. When she’s not digging for music, she works as a freelance filmmaker and photographer.
Her selections are characterised by an energetic mix of contrasting genres within the realms of italo disco, new beat, house and progressive house. She is a founder and resident of the Berlin based R27 collective.

This mix for ÖND is a deeply personal one, tracing the roots of her musical inspirations. Starting at a groovy 112 bpm and ending at 130 this warm-up mix takes you through a selection of lighthearted italo, progressive and dream house contrasted by darker new beat and EBM tracks.

Vital Spark is a DJ & producer from the Highlands of Scotland, now residing in Glasgow. Influenced by the more melodic side of underground electronic music, Vital Spark's productions take elements from italo disco, trance, 80's synthpop, and classic house to create upbeat and positive synth-centric dance tracks. 
His forthcoming EP, Diskoteket, is due for release in early April, both digitally and as a limited run of 12" records, with digital pre-orders currently running on the Vital Spark Bandcamp page, and vinyl pre-orders live on all major online record stores.

“In this mix, I tried to find a nice middle ground between my old style and what I’ve been into lately. I’ve been moving away from four-on-the-floor rhythms and moving more towards broken patterns, but I wanted to throw in some bass infused, atmospheric and dreamy techno to tie it all together. Overall, the idea behind this mix was to go for a more clubby sound - energetic, percussive and hypnotic, but with some unexpected turns.”
