Gold Coast, Queensland metal crushers LYNCHMADA have completed the recording of the bands upcoming new album 'TO THE EARTH'. The album was recorded in Australia at Core Studios on the Gold Coast with Nik Carpenter (DEVOLVED) and was mixed and mastered in the U.S by renowned metal producer ZEUSS (HATEBREED, CHIMAIRA, SHADOWS FALL, ACACIA STRAIN, WHITECHAPEL and more) The album will be released in Australia through TRUTH INC RECORDS in October with an extensive national tour following.

With a sound that relies on driving rhythms and pummelling grooves backed by a strong dynamic, LYNCHMADA will appeal to a broad range of heavy music listeners who thrive on bands such as the DEFTONES and KARNIVOOL through to MESHUGGAH and CHIMAIRA. In the heart of Australian suburbia, amid the clinking of beer bottles, half-time sirens and working-class mediocrity 4-piece rock band Dirty Hearts (Brisbane/Meanjin) has emerged as the embodiment of gritty, unapologetic, rock. Comprised of Holly Maddigan (Keyboards and Vocals), Luke Anderson (Drums), Matt Doe (Vocals and Guitar), and Mace McGregor on bass, the hard-working quartet has become synonymous with their electrifying, unforgiving live performances and a sound that's equal parts familiar and difficult to pin down. 
With a ‘nod and a wink to past masters, Dirty Hearts infuse their music equal parts driving guitar, anthemic pomp and swagger. This program began as an ad-hoc segment by David McMillan on the Friday afternoon shift around the time of the first Brisbane International Film Festival in 1992, before moving to its current timeslot as "The Incredible Shrinking Movie Show" at the start of 1993.
