Another proud moment is here for us at PHW, it is time to unleash the 2nd PHW & Friends collection and we are eager to follow in the footsteps of our first PHW & Friends that was a great success.

This time we have 16 different originals included to bring you the journey that we hope you will feel as good as ever with. You will meet a bunch of new names on the label but also a few that you have seen along with us over the past 7 months that we have been up and running with our PHW project.

Opening up for us this time is a great talent based in Chisinau, Moldova, Alex Byrka is a name to remember. This production, ”Ocean Of Love” is an high energy progressive production filled with great elements, that give you a perfect start to run of with, expect pace and melodies in a great mixture.

Moving on to the 2nd track we are welcoming a production duo that we have had in the past, remixing for us on both James Woods and on one Jocey release that we have had. Now they have joined us with a production that we have been chasing for well over a year. With that said, we are proud to present you on a fantastic journey from IN5UM called ”Lost World”, a superb progressive trance production.

3rd up is a new boy in the house but is someone you can be prepared to hear more from in the future of PHW. Hailing from Leicester, England, we welcome a great talent that goes under the alias of Zuubi. Here he is with a quality progressive production called ”Pana”. It has a really happy vibes, cool textures and smart melodies to give it a smooth and nice pumping feel, we feel in love right from the start.

Moving forward on our journey, we now have the pleasure to showcase a brilliant collaboration, this time between Polish producer Squeezer of Tears and rising starlet from Japan, 06R. They have created a super crisp melodic progressive track here, including some really heavy weight elements to put a superb drive in to the track, you gotta love music like this. Awesome guys!

As for the 5th track, we welcome back one of our regulars on the label, Russian producer Dunkan. He joined us here with his summer-ish production ”Shine” that is an uplifting production, filled with energetic melodies, just the way we want it here on PHW.

Moving ahead, we here want to show you a brand new name on the roaster. Sergey Tek. We are thrilled to have this track included. It is a great journey and is a track that takes us back to the roots of progressive. Lovely plucks, awesome melodies and an overall layering of sounds that we feel is exactly what we want to bring to you.

As for the 7th track on this new PHW & Friends compilation we have the honor to present our great friend Mizar B back to the label, this time together with with a good friend of him, Polish producer Heever. The boys present you a skilled melodic production packed with great addictive elements, cool textures and a smooth drive.

Next up, we are happy to present you our first female producer in on PHW. Hailing from Poland, the great producer Aitra has joined us with her production ”Tropicana”. This is a bit deeper than the past productions on the compilation, still with a big load of melodies and cool pads that is working the track. She will soon be back on remix duty on the label with her energetic style.

For the 9th track you will face another new producer on our roaster, Australian producer Firas Tarhini. From his studio in Melbourne he has produced a superb melody bound production, this one is just an awesome one, and we feel this is a spot on melodic monster with a really cool drive. We hope to see him back really soon!

Moving on we turn our attention to the US and Boston bound producer Eric Rigo. He has turned in with a smooth laid back melodic piece of progressive. With a lush and very warm break, we were hooked on this one right from the start and we are really happy to have him with us. He will be back with an EP in just a few days also, this very productive producer.

As track no. 11 on the compilation, you will face another new name on our roaster, this time we got a great melodic track sent to us from the talented Blackluster, know from Elliptical Sun Melodies and their Winter Sampler. We definitely feel he is a name to keep in mind, this is another great effort!

Next up we are proud to present you a another great melody bound production and a new name on PHW, and a producer that will be with us A LOT from since we have him in on a lot of projects already. It's a great moment to present you the Australian producer Alex H. With his great skills to build those smooth melodies, you here have the first example of what is to come from him in the future, it's just great stuff!

As the 13th track you have UK producer Midge served for you. He has put an energetic production to us here, called ”Da Yah”. Cool stabbs, smooth melodies and cool vocal chops is working the track here.

Moving ahead and getting closer to the end, we present you a production from the Russian producer Smart Wave. Here he brings us a melody bound production, filled with great arrangements and smooth textures.

We round of this episode of PHW & Friends with our buddy from Romania, Pavel Denisov. Know from the past through labels such as Stellar Fountain, Baroque, Mistique and many more. Here he brings us a nice deep house inspired production that is really relaxing and is the perfect way to round things of for us.

We want to thank everyone involved here for the PHW & Friends 002 and we hope all of you find something that sound interesting for you. We for sure are proud to present you all of the productions involved this time and we hope to have another PHW & Friends compilation ready for you really soon!

Silk Royal is thrilled to present Silk Remixed 03, the third installment of the annual series, featuring various veteran talents and rising stars in progressive. Three of the tracks included in the compilation were first "previewed" on April's Silk Royal Showcase 03 compilation, while three others (remixes by Terry Da Libra, Dave Cortex, and eleven.five) are completely new. All six cuts are now available for the first time as full, DJ-friendly versions.

Kicking off the compilation is Dan & Sam's celestially-inspired remix of Gregory Esayan's "Innerspace", which was initially featured as the anthemic opener of Silk Royal Showcase 03 (Part One). This tremendously talented duo, hailing from the USA and Australia, continue to demonstrate their penchant for chunky grooves and "classic" progressive arrangements, including ethereal and truly breathtaking breakdowns. Next up is standout label talent Aleksey Yakovlev, who contributes a stunning new interpretation of PROFF's "Starstruck". One of Silk Royal's very first releases, Yakovlev's rendering is a true homage to the golden age of progressive, a genre to which his native Russia has contributed greatly over the years. Celebrated Greek artist Terry Da Libra has chosen to rework another back catalogue favorite: Schodt & Sundriver feat. Aida Fenhel's "Here With Me". Terry's new version is infused with a driving, layered lead, all-the-while maintaining the original's radiant and seductive energy. The euphoric, stadium-filling drop in this one is one of the highlights of the entire release. Aleksey Yakovlev's second contribution is a new remix of Olaen, originally produced by Argentinian label fixture Airdraw. In a similar vein as Terry's take, this track is centered on a newly envisaged stormy and layered bass, as the gorgeous motifs from the original soar overhead. American veteran producer-DJ Dave Cortex, who has contributed to all three editions of Silk Remixed, returns with a characteristically funky and dancefloor-oriented rendering of Peter Illias's "Let Me Be". Joined on this one by recent collaborator Josh Harnois, Cortex delivers another memorable groove, which combines beautifully with various disco-flavored samples and evocative vocal effects. Last but not least, currently one of most supported artists on international progressive and trance radio, American talent eleven.five provides a deep and introspective rendering of Justin Oh's "Good Morning". He has chosen to include some of the vocal samples from the original; otherwise, the track is completely reworked, including new lead melodies and a flirtatious, after-hours groove.

Schodt & Sundriver feat. Aida Fenhel - Here With Me (Terry Da Libra Remix) [Silk Royal]

We're happy to welcome Nueva Digital newcomer, Blugazer (aka Jack Barrile) to the party, with his 'Perpetual Quietus' EP [ND096]! The producer from Queens, NY has been producing since 2006, and assumed his music name in 2010. With support from the likes of DJ's Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, PVD, and others, this release maintains the high bar he's set for himself.

The Dub Mix and Original Mix of 'Perpetual Quietus' lead off the EP, featuring the soothing sound of vocalist Catherine washing over the melodic rhythms and angelic atmospherics that are blended so well together. Definitely a solid track you won't be able to resist including in your next progressive trance/uplifting set! Blugazer follows up with a slightly more pensive, rolling journey in the last track, 'Utopian Suicides'. The excellent use of vocal atmospheres and emotive piano lines bring to mind memories of the past, and an almost bittersweet tone to the track. The title and content combine to deliver a powerful ride.
