Electronic music innovator Alex Church returns with a 13th transmission on his excellent Configurations of Self label, this time enlisting Gai Barrone for remix duties. Church has continued to put out invigorating and left of centre sounds throughout the last year. He has been active since the mid-nineties but has never been in finer form than with this latest label which has seen him explore everything from melodic soundscapes to industrial techno under a range of aliases. He is a deep thinker who manages to lay out a narrative in his music and does that once more here. Stunning opener 'Central Coherence' is a majestic piece of melodic techno with elegant synth craft and Detroit styled grooves that take you into the future. Stepping up to remix is Gai Barone, an Italian who has rightfully earned his place amongst leading figures in the house and techno world thanks to releases on the likes of Afterglow Deep, Navigation Records and Hope Recordings. His version is a fantastic slow burner that sweeps you off your feet. Angelic vocal touches add real soul to the sweeping pads, ever present sense of rising tension and mellifluous melodies that bath you in lush sound.

Mycelium brings you this masterpiece called "Let me out", whose main artist is Gux Jimenez and it has and two remixes by Juanes Mesa and Leo Guerrero. These artists are the representation of the successful Colombian Progressive House scene with three diverse and complementary styles of progressive house.

The basis of this ep is in his deep and inspiring vocals and Gux Jimenez incorporated it with rhythms and melodies that symbolize a release of creative energy.

Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint welcomes Jean Caillou back to the label for a new EP. First emerging in 2016 from Switzerland's avant-garde electronic landscape, Jean Caillou quickly established himself with releases via Magician On Duty, RYNTH and Underyourskin Records, where his thoughtful take on deep house flourished. Moving forward, 2019 saw the Zurich resident make his Sound Avenue debut with a well-received remix of Joe Miller's 'The Days'. Deep and enchanting in equal measure, its organic vibe immediately won over DJs and fans alike, sparking what has been a fruitful relationship between the Belgian imprint and Swiss artist. Now, nearly five years on from his label debut and Jean has recorded three artist EPs and two additional remixes, making him one of Sound Avenue's most steadfast artists. Fully formed within the creative confines of his Zurich studio, Jean's fourth Sound Avenue project 'Northern Lights', follows on from 2023's 'Montouk', a five-track affair bursting with charismatic charm and stirring musicality.

One of our first releases in 2019 came from Eric Lune, the alter-ego of Melbourne-based Eric Quattropani, who provided us his stunning 3-track debut EP featuring "Snow Pony", "Wooden Bird" and the title track "Tantra". Since then, Eric Lune's unique atmospheric-heavy sound has earned himself bragging rights with his music being released on well respected imprints, namely SABB's "Radiant.", Guy Mantzur and Yaniv Tal's "Plattenbank", "Madloch's "Sound Avenue" + "3rd Avenue", Bryan Wolfear's "Strange Town" and MoodFreak and Mike Koglin's "YOMO". Fast-forward to almost exactly a year later and we celebrate and welcome him back for our 36th release on Juicebox Music with brand new remixes of his "Tantra" EP courtesy of Tantum, Donny Carr and Praveen Achary.

Karlsruhe (Germany) based artist - Tantum, aka Thomas Koch, steps up to remix the title track "Tantra". Tantum first made his appearance on our imprint through his "Ashen" EP in 2019. In a short span of time, he's been featured on labels like Einmusika's sister imprint "EIN2", Steve Bug's "Poker Flat", Superflu's "Monaberry" as well as the progressive imprints - "Mango Alley" and "Lowbit". Tantum's take on Eric Lune's "Tantra" weaves the original's melancholic soul with his signature stamp and amazing sound-design elements, turning it into a proper club banger.
