Kicking off a series of live recordings, listed's Naveen G sets the tone for what was the first iteration of Enclave, The Cityfox Experience, in Brooklyn, New York. On a night that featured a slew of heavy hitters, priming the audience was of utmost importance and Naveen was the perfect choice.

Whoever says "progressive" is a dirty word hasn't heard this as he masterfully weaves together lush melodies and soundscapes that roll over brooding beats, ebbing and flowing, rising and falling, coaxing the swelling crowd from milling about to centering on the dance floor, anxious to get down. As the tension builds to a crescendo, Adriatique took the reins, perfectly set up by the meticulousness on display here.

"For me, Jean-Michel Jarre is one of the founding fathers of electronic music. His music has always been sonically and musically creative, so when I first heard his music as kid it was one of the main things that inspired me to want to make electronic music. Jarre also created the big show format for an electronic performer. 

I recall first discovering Tangerine Dream via the soundtrack to "Risky Business" and was very sad to hear of Edgar Froese's recent passing. 

It was an honour to work with these two legends of electronica on our remix of “Zero Gravity" - the idea was to draw on the early influences from their music combined with ideas from the track itself, and then inject some Above & Beyond into the mix."

so this is a remix I did for the lovely Phoebe Ryan - the original is such a beautiful, uplifting thing, but it took me awhile to wrap my head around what to do with it. so i closed my eyes, took some deep breaths, lit some candles, said some voodoo chants etc etc, and boom the remix was done

but actually this was one of the smoothest, least bang my head against the keyboard remixes i've ever done. it's a bit different than a lot of my other stuff, but everything just flowed super well when i was making it and i'm really happy with how it came out, so ENJOY!! and keep an eye out, news about next original tune coming soon!

Music production is a really humbling hobby, and it is easy to become a perfectionist and release nothing at all.  I read every comment posted, and each one means the world to me.  At the end of the day, I will continue making music no matter what, because of the way it makes me feel.  I am in it for the emotion and the messages conveyed through the language of music, no words required.  

It is exciting and also scary to hit that 'publish' button sometimes.  Here goes nothing...
