The Munich Latin jazz collective Jazz ConClave offers a refreshing blend of jazz, Latin, and salsa.

With its lineup of flute, vibraphone, bass, and two Latin American percussion pieces, the quintet is reminiscent of the music of Cal Tjader and Dave Valentin, but possesses a distinctive character with a fresh sound and original compositions.

Their music—at times floating, at times dynamically driving—doesn't fit neatly into conventional jazz stylistic categories. Woven with catchy themes, it has the potential to become ingrained in the listener's memory, something everyone will best experience for themselves live.
