This weeks show capped off our amazing 5th birthday month on Spin City. This week had me on hosting duties, and my mate Chuggin Edits closing. Moving forward myself and Gary will be sharing a show every second month after he agreed to be a resident.

premiere: Frivolous – Cinemascopique [CHCH04]

This track has a strong latin influence to it, taking the Puerto Rican legend that is Hector Lavoe and giving one of his standards (La Murga) a club mix.

Starting with some brass call and responses, the track drops tempo down to 100bpm in the breakdown and builds back up for a full on party time drop - making it perfect for DJs who like dropping latin bombas!

La Murga makes reference to latin musical theatre across the South American lands from Argentina to Panama.

DJ since the early´s 80´s, I start DJing in bars (No Sense) then in Clubs (Resident DJ at Lux and KoolKat) and also hosting some Radio shows..
After 10 years, stopped mixing professionally. 
Influenced by the harmonic sound, beat and groove of Jazz, Soul, Funk and Disco music since very young.
Nowadays House Music is my preference but never forgetting that (old) sound that influenced all those new ones.
