February's Finest or publicly known as The Effex is a producer, and songwriter. Started songwriting as early as 5th grade progressing to engineering artists as a freshman in high school.  2016 would be the foregoing year he would officially immerse into the industry; leading up to 2019 release "Teen Love" followed by the mixtape of  "Antares". 

LaDarius Martin was born February 8, 2001 in Irving, Texas. He spent majority of his childhood collaborating with schoolmates and artists internationally and would focus his efforts into engineering his own music. His sound aspires from strong shades of Drake, The Weeknd amongst artists as NAV, 6LACK, Juice WRLD, and Tory Lanez . He would form his following during the Soundcloud era early as 2016. Notable for the release of a 3 series project that spanned over the course of  Summer of 2018  "A Summer Trilogy" paved the way for his uniqueness of cross-breeding genres." XXXTENTACION was a big inspiration for the project."  stating during a livestream.  The Effex has featured with a lot of artists between 2017-2020.

After releasing singles and projects on his Soundcloud his breakout song "Bad Lil Thang", featuring his cousin Derion Darnell, peaked #2 on the Radio Airplay Experts charts, leading the duo to be openers for a show hosted by K CAMP. Afterwards GOOD MONEY FAMILY would established as OTR Stezzo founded the company. The cousins insisted on working together following the release of 2022's EP  - "The Girls Who Wanna Have Fun".
