Mr - 'H' aka Paul Hoey from Manchester, began his love for Music & DJing at the tender age of 11 back at home with his parents when he purchased a pair of Synergy belt drive Turntables after seeing a friend mixing two records together. After learning and gaining some tips, Paul decided to take the plunge into DJing himself with his own decks and a few white label records. 
It took a bit of time to get the hang of cueing and mixing tracks with plenty of late night practice before he eventually gained confidence to start playing to large groups of friends and family at parties. Playing an eclectic style of House & Club classics alongside new up and coming funky house back in the early 2000's.
Paul has always been an avid collector of Vinyl ranging from House right through to classic Funk | Disco, but eventually made the switch to the digital era with new CDJ players and Cd's \ Usb's within the clubs. 
Paul was given the opportunity to play a warmup gig by local DJ/Promotor Phil Rose after he listened to one of Paul's various mixes online. Paul played his first gig for Phil's Edit.presents night at The Common Room in Culceth, Warrington & after impressing earned himself more gigs & a residency with Edit for future events. 
Over the last five years, Paul has played for Edit at various venues and cities including Baku Lounge (Chorley), Koto Club (Southport), Gorilla (Manchester), Common Room (Warrington) , Soba Bar (Leeds) & has warmed up for the likes of Joey Negro, DJ Spen, LNTG, Graeme Park, Full Intention & The Reflex to name but a few. 
Paul also, holds a monthly residency at Chorley's newest venue - Latch Bar, where he plays a broad range of music from Disco to Funk, Old Skool to Hip Hop & House. 
Not only that, during his time playing for Edit he was spotted and asked to play for another night based in Bolton called Jacked, playing similar music in the underground scene to Edit & warming up for David Dunne (Manchester), TWISM (US) & Lenny Fontana (US). 

This year, Paul warmed up for the mighty Joey Negro at Manchester's Epic venue, Gorilla to around a 400 top crowd for Edit's 5th Birthday Celebration! 
Paul will also be making an appearance at Gorilla again for their Disco Brunch event on Oct 1st with the other Edit Residents as well as playing on other gigs lined up for the rest of the year. 

Paul also co hosts & produces The Lockdown Radio Show on 102.8 Chorley FM on a monthly basis and has featured guests such as Full Intention, Micky More & Andy Tee, Malachi, Curtis Gabriel & Man Without A Clue to name a few. 

Paul is a big lover of playing various genres ranging from House including Soulful, Deep & Tech, also venturing more retro with classic Disco & Funk Re Edits and also playing club classics and floor fillers to keep dance floors and people happy.
