Six paths are etched for this journey into time, space and the machine.  A spectrum of sound is allowed to roam, to wander into strange worlds of galvanised synth lines, serrated snares and soulful strings.  The 12” comprises perfectly balanced, astral melodies countered by crisp and precise rhythms, and distant harmonies tethered to absorbing bass.  A renewed partnership with machinist in arms, Paris The Black FU of Detroit Grand Pubahs is formed for the mechanical dreamscape that is ‘Globb’.  A complex and utterly compelling encounter with the Luxus Varta nebula !

This is the first time it has been repressed in over a decade, and we’re using the original masters — coming from 2 wizards of Midwest Mastering. The A side was mastered by Mark Richardson at Metropolis (who later founded Prairie Cat Mastering) and the b side is complete with lock grooves cut by Ron Murphy.

For the digital version we have remastered the songs with Neel from Enisslab, and included some bonuses.

Lloyd Stellar is one of the alter ego’s of Dutch electronic musician Erik Griffioen.

His electro sound is characterized by machine-like beats, melancholic pads, vocoder-driven vocals and futuristic themes that often deal with the apocalyptic consequences of man's greed, the relationship between humans and machines and wars on distant planets.
