Parallel Babe is written from the eyes of "the other woman". The soundscapes of this ballad encapsulate the haunting nature of this figure. The "Parallel Babe" is the symbol of a desired affair. Lyrics like "floating in my gold glitter" and "love me in my castle, harnessed to the real world" paints a fragmented picture of what this love really is. This self-written, -composed & -produced song was inspired by my year in Shanghai, living in the same hotel room for an entire year.
