A Dublin song, which we got from the legendary Luke Cheevers, about an aging British army recruitment sergeant who was stationed at Dunphy's Corner (now Doyle's Corner) in Phibsboro, on Dublin's northside.
This track was kindly recorded by Ian O' Donoghue live at The Sugar Club, Dublin on 28th June 2015.

This song has long been on my hard drive. Sometimes you need help to get a song ready. The first step was, I made the singing myself, but without lyrics ... haha, that sounds really funny... lalala ... blabla. Then I asked Jim Dye to play some keyboards, and afterwards I thought this song would be something for Ray Treacy† (R.I.P) ... and yes, he did a great job with the vocals, just like Jim with the keys of course. I'm glad to present a really nice song... just "Music for the Soul". Everything was recorded with RiffWorks Standard by Sonoma Wire Works and then polished with Logic Pro X... mastered with T-RackS.
