Maewen is a French music producer living in Germany. 
She likes to improvise and experiment with sounds until she finds a unique musical landscape for each song. Mixing acoustic and electronic instruments she creates audacious and genre-blending compositions.

Maewen ist eine begnadete Klanghandwerkerin, die in ambitionierten Klangexperimenten selbst aufgenommene Samples sammelt und daraus eigene fesselnde Klangabenteuer zimmert, die nicht nur Freunde von Electronika und Trip-Hop in den Bann schlagen, sondern auch Fans von akustischer und melodischer Musik mitreißen.
Klassisch ausgebildet, hat die Pianistin und Musikproduzentin/Komponistin 2010 angefangen, elektronische Musik zu produzieren. Seitdem arbeitet sie außerdem als Sound-Designerin, arrangiert und produziert Musik für andere Musiker/Sänger und kreiert Remixes in vielen Genres.

Maewen navigue dans un univers particulier qui se situe sur un fil entre electro et trip-hop, mêlant  les matériaux électroniques et accoustiques dans une écriture moderne et authentique. 
Riche d’influences multiples avec un penchant pour la musique classique instrumentale et les pionniers de la musique électronique, Maewen dilue les genres musicaux dans des productions imprévisibles et multifacettes. 
Maewen collabore également avec d’autres artistes et produit des remixes dans différents styles.

3 brand new future garage tracks just signed to EML as of 2/9/22.

Currently focused on sync licensing and writing music for song libraries.  I cannot share the bulk of this music because that's what makes it work.  I will try to release works for public consumption from time to time, but please understand that is not my main focus for my music at this juncture.
