D.Yaroslav, the Dug Up The Bongo founder, is releasing a seven track EP come album in aid of Ukranian humanitarian fund “Grains of Peace” being spearheaded by 20ft Radio.

The release is available via Whypeopledance who have been behind a number of charitable causes in the wake of the war following Russia’s invasion.

For this new mix in the series, we had the pleasure of inviting Zaatar زَعْتَر, a dj and producer of Moroccan and Belgian origins currently based in France.

Zaatar زَعْتَر finds her inspiration in the post punk and EBM movement of the late 80’ and early 90’ and melodies and sounds inherited from her home country Morocco. 

Let her take you on a captivating journey from light to darkness, an oscillation between joy and melancholy sometimes punctuated by oriental melodies.

And here’s the real kicker: the more you search for your identity, the more you realize it’s not buried somewhere waiting to be found. It’s something you forge in the crucible of your own pain and resilience. It’s embracing the chaos, the darkness, the scars that make you human. In a world that demands conformity, your true power lies in your defiance. By choosing to be authentically flawed, you don’t just find yourself; you transcend the very notion of identity.
