Rich Towers delights your week start with a fresh Strawberry Mojito! 

Hailing from Manchester (UK), Rich got the bug for dance music from his first trip to Ibiza in 2011 and started DJ'ing shortly after but didn’t get into production until 2020 and already has releases on 3rd Avenue, Bekool, RYNTH & Flug Lab to name a few and has got more exciting projects in the pipeline. 

Organic, Progressive House and Melodic Techno are the main styles that he loves to play for his listeners. He runs a party in Manchester with fellow Dj/Producer and friend Mazayr called 'Right Frequency'. They've had successful events at some of the great clubs across Manchester over the past 5 years.

Strawberry Mojito | Rich Towers

What a whirlwind at Burning Man 2023. I'm slowly combing through my USBs and gathering all the sets. I will be recording a couple that I didn't get to record out there from a sunrise moment on the Janky Barge art car and a funky sunrise set at Bubbles & Bass that didn't happen because of the epic storm. 

Long before the storm, I jammed with the crew at the camp Santo Cabron and brought in the sunset vibes atop the aEyeclops art piece. It was such a beautiful view of the entire city, and I immensely want to thank Love My Robot aka Carolina and Rey Solo aka my BIPOC Beats Collective co-lead Juan for having me and for letting me share space with ya.

Monday Night 3 & Esplanade. Opening Party at Illumination Village. Burning Man 2023.
Let me attempt to paint the scene and tell you a little story.
This set was a wonderful journey from riding across the Playa solo in the heat of the six pm sun, right on time to jump on and get the music on to serenade the golden orb as it began its transition behind the mountains. Because this happens when the sun is still so high it feels like the twilight goes on for hours out there, everything takes on a hyper reality because of the light it really does seem otherworldly! 
The golden lining on the mountains glows like a snake lying across the peaks. 
At the same time the heat begins to go out of the air and it's much easier to be out the open and moving in the cooler air. 
Being on the Esplanade I had an amazing view from the decks out to the open Playa and the Man and as the evening began to get darker things at the illumination village really started to fire up, literally.
It's a fire art village so things were just exploding all the time in front of me and then the opening weeks fireworks began to light up around the city. Friends came, friends went, on foot, on bicycles, on art cars and there was dust there was dancing and fire everywhere!
It really felt like I was at Burning Man ;-) 
I played this set moment to moment with no plan and just feeling the vibes of what was in front of me. Safe to say I was having much fun, hope you feel that in this recording, my only one from the week.

What made this even more special for me was that for every year I've been at Burning man the Monday party after the event was always such a favourite moment for me. After the week all the art cars gather around Illumination Village to blow off all the excess Propane. There is no music just the sound of exploding fire art all night long.
I love it!
All the burners still left on playa after breaking down camps and all the other things come together and gift and hold each other in a magical moment as the last party of the event.
So it was super nice for me to gift you all with music and open the week there this time.
What a special Burn........ again ;-)

“Opening up Camp KISS’s Burning Man 2023 public offering on Monday night was a major highlight of my Burn. This was my second year in a row opening KISS's stage. We had just spent several days after the initial build week rain bringing the camp to life, and I wanted to set the tone and get our weeklong party started with high vibes. Smiles were on, dances got sweaty, and hugs were freely given. This also set the stage for my week, as it was the first of six sets I performed on playa. I really enjoyed this set and I hope you do too!”

Shalman @ KISS | Burning Man 2023 | French Kiss in Space

Wow, what a night!  It was the second Sunday, after the rainstorm.  We were muddy, but ready to go!  The Transylvania Castle came to life.

I had the opportunity to perform inside the speakeasy on one of the best Funktion One systems I've ever heard.

The vampires came out to dance that night and the party was rocking until the Sun came up.

Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Fassi found his way to electronic music after his move to Montreal, discovering the city's eclectic club scene. Although he calls Montreal home, he says his heritage is "interesting" and he tries to take bits where he can to incorporate into his own music. When Djing, the sets are buttery and pulsing, with thick, punchy drums to punctuate.
