Formed in 2011 out of the bohemian district of Kallio in Helsinki, Finland. Daggerplay began creating their punk, rock´n´roll style that also has influences with late seventies powerpop. With lyrics based on own experiences quite dark at times about growing up in a small town in Finland and the crazy years living London, but at the same time not forgetting the hope and humour of it all.

As part of the Kallio indie music scene they would in 2013 release their debut album, Urban Campfire Songs, and start to actively play shows in their home area and throughout the greater Helsinki region, even rocking the occasional acoustic set to many delighted fans.
In the Fall of 2018 Daggerplay would release their second album, Subterranean Reality, concreting their name in the scene while receiving positive reviews from music websites around the world.

For Daggerplay, it’s all about the songs. Delivering musical hooks and deft arrangements that provide the right touch and attitude supporting each song. There is clearly no doubt that Daggerplay is not afraid to explore across multiple genres of rock music including blues and folk.

Each member in Daggerplay has a long musical background playing and recording with various bands and touring in Europe and America.
The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Pekko Mantzin, guitarist and vocalist Tommi Luostarinen, bassist and backing vocalist Bryan Ugartechea, and drummer Sirpa Immonen.

The new single and video, Eastbound Subway Train, will be released in March 2021.

Sentinel is an Indie-dream-pop duo originating from San Francisco, California, now based in San Diego. The seeds of this sunny-seaside-dream-pop began between Tarabud (vocals/bass) and Dennis Bestafka (guitars) on a four track recorder in 2000. Their live performances have been numerable over the years, with the support of friends on drums and keyboards for their live performances. They have been heard on FM Radio: (Live105.3FM), (Nic Harcourt's syndicated program 'Connections Made by Guitar Center' broadcast nationally on FM stations in the USA) & (College radio in 160 stations across US and Canada), Local TV, and Live Music venues of the Northern California. 

Sentinel's sound is strongly influenced of their mutual visions of 80's synth and 90's dream pop. Bands  like Cocteau Twins, Smiths, U2, My Bloody Valentine, Cure, Flock Of Seagulls. Dead Can Dance, and Ocean Blue have provided consistent inspiration, creating a long catalog of moods & textures to draw from while developing their sound. 

Over the years their catalog has been expansive with variety. Songwriter Nolan Anderson was a journeyman multi-instrumentalist in the Seattle music scene for years. He’s played everything from punk to blues to country rock to folk, both as a solo artist and in such bands as Connections, Bad Bones and the Big Haired Girl, Vagabonds and, of course, Mad Andersons. Nolan plays guitar, bass, accordion, piano, and drums.

Catherine Anderson has been a classical concert artist for most of her career.  She began her extensive performance career at an early age and has appeared regularly in chamber ensembles and collaborative recitals throughout the Pacific Northwest as well as concert venues in the United States and Europe. She currently is an independent collaborative pianist for faculty and students at the University of Idaho and Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington.

There aren’t many saxophone and bassoon duos. We first met as students at Louisiana State University. After graduating and losing touch for a few years, the magic of social media and LSU sports brought us together first as friends, then musical colleagues. When we remembered watching our teachers perform together on one particular concert, we were inspired by our non-traditional combination of instruments to perform together. Frustrated by the lack of existing works for our ensemble, we began to arrange existing pieces, and also turned to our composer friends and colleagues and challenged them to write new works for the newly formed Post-Haste Reed Duo.

Our mission is two-fold: to increase the amount of quality chamber music literature for saxophone and bassoon duo, and to encourage young musicians to experiment performing in non-traditional chamber ensembles. We do this when we collaborate with composers towards new works for us that highlight the capabilities of our two instruments individually and together.

We want to continue bridging composers with audiences by motivating young people to participate in new chamber music, either as musicians or as audience members. And we hope that inspiration comes from our efforts to create new music.

Our debut album titled "Beneath a canopy of angels...a river of stars" was released on the Aerocade Music Label in January 2016 and is available at posthasteduo.bandcamp.com and on iTunes, CDBaby, and Amazon.
