Sodada is the brainchild of Andy Casella and Hannah Rose. Joined by Nate Mondschein and Josh Hirst, they want to pull you into a dream state: draw you into the heart of something deep and delicious and just a little bit dangerous. Defying genre, defying convention, they aim to make you feel, make you shake. Drawing on a vast range of influences from modal jazz and punk rock to neo-soul and indie pop along with everything in between, one thing is certain: You’ve never heard anything quite like them.

Julian Mendoza is amorphous. Floating gracefully through the space between Hip-Hop, Soul, Jazz, and much more, the Massachusetts singer-rapper-songwriter has been likened to boundary-pushers such as Dominic Fike, Saba, and Frank Ocean. 

While these comparisons alone paint an eclectic picture, Mendoza’s versatility may be best represented by his wealth of genre-bending collaborative work. Artists he has shared songs with range from Rei Kimura of Indie Pop-Rock band Moxie to Grammy-nominated Dreamville affiliate DaVionne and underground Hip-Hop rising star Blvck Svm. His own latest body of work, the 14-track “Beneath My Wings,” features contributions from more than 40 musicians, writers, and engineers.
