Derrick Walker better known as the artist D.Hustle, was born and raised from the urban streets of Jacksonville, Florida. Growing up on the north side of town he saw nothing but drugs, prostitutes, gang members, and a high crime rate in his neighborhood. D. Hustle was raised in a single parent home, where school was taken seriously. When he first heard Nas classic album “Illmatic” on his tape player, that’s when he knew Nas will be one of his favorite rappers. Some of his other influences are Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane, Biggie, Jay-Z, EMP, Rakim, Ludacris, T.I. and a host of many other respectable artists in the music industry. 
	When he first heard his brother and friends rapping, that inspired him to turn all of his poetry into rap songs. D. Hustle figured he could use rap music as an outlet at the age of fourteen and by the time he was sixteen he perfected his craft and could freestyle fluently. One of his hidden talents will be harmonizing, because of his two years of choir experience in high school and his experience in the church choir. In 2005 he moved to Tallahassee, Florida where he currently resides with his wife and two kids. Family is a huge part of D. Hustle’s life, he is a proud family man. 
	Since he has been living in Tallahassee, he has became more involved with his music and learnt how to do more things like beat making, production, mixing and mastering his own music. D. Hustle is currently working on two albums right now that will be coming out soon. “For The Ladies” which will be dropping this year, has no release date yet and “Ladies Love” would be his second album . His vision is to be one of the best rappers in the industry and to bring some of that old school & new school hip-hop with his music. D. Hustle definitely will become a recognizable name in the music industry with his great personality and work ethic.
