All great artists have an amazing ability to transcend the confining limits of style inherent in every art form. Thru honest humility, they are constantly evolving and recreating themselves to fit the present moment while staying rooted in their craft; grounded in their truth.

Enter Nu , a prophet of poetry who cannot be contained by the limiting factors of genre or doctrine. As a Hiphop artist, he is a refreshing emcee whose skin color, religion and locale is irrelevant to his identity. He is simply Nu, an entity; a vessel expressing sentiments of love, acceptance and perseverance. As an emcee, he balances thought-provoking lyrics with a soulful tone, thus avoiding a "preachy" or aggressive style. Nu displays the wisdom of an old soul with a child-like wonder, bringing a calming excitement whether on stage or in the studio. 

Nu surpasses the bounds of physical reality to connect with the audience on a spiritual level. His lyrics strip us to our core to reveal the simple truth that we, as living beings, are nothing more than mortal pieces of space dust who share more similarities than differences.

Known by a few names over the years, from Champ Nasa to Nubn. Nu holds experience as one half of the SF-based duo, Products of Brotherhood, along with DJ Hi/Lo. Soon, the two would go on to collaborate with artists, Kaly-Jay, Morris Done, Xiomara and A.D., to form The Peoples Tree, receiving critical acclaim in the Bay Area. As a solo artist, Nu has collaborated with producers from Hawaii to Virginia, proving an ability to mix and blend with a diverse array of styles and rhythms.

Overall, Nu's eloquent speech and engaging cadence inspires us to be ourselves more than anything else; and he allows us to be content with whoever that self may be. Nu keeps us aligned with what is truly important in life: Love & Growth.
