Stoner Rock singer-songwriter, Jack Mac (24) has so far wowed crowds with his explosive energy and addictive melodies since 2016. Mac is a mix of 60s/70s Blues, Alt and Psych with clean chaotic guitar, menacing rythmn and towering vocals. From early love tales to society observation, his maturity in songwriting has flourished and been greatly recognised over the years, finding his feet firmly in the local music scene.

Following the release of his debut single 'Do You Want It?' (2016), Mac gained a local cult following and mass amount of radio play from across the globe, including BBC Introducing. Jack Mac has supported many touring acts, played hundreds of shows and landed slots on some of the most prestigous UK festivals, playing to audiences up to 10,000.

"What Would It Be Like" won the UKSC POP category 2009.......This was the very first song that I wrote and composed myself.....(This track is now Published by Leopard Music) ........"What Would It Be Like" won the UKSC POP category 2009........ The vocalist that I used in this track was Jo Norfolk, who was in Suzi Quatro's Tour band.....Jo did an amazing job of interpreting my track exactly as I wished! .This track is now signed to Leopard music. The demons in my head relate to being psychic but not wanting to be.........but a few years down the line......it really doesn't bother me now! But I do still ask most of the demons to go away :) 

Also  one of my other songs " Autumn Truth"   which I wrote with a songwriting friend Michaela Gillian Jay is now with  Leopard Music Publishing.

I am currently working on more tracks and also instrumentals for film and TV.  

We also have been doing an internet radio show for the last ten years- we are now on NorthernQuarterRadio.Co.Uk- The Mer & Mikki Show ....playing new signed and unsigned singer songwriters and sometimes we get guest visits in the studio on the show from The BaaBaa Band :)

The band, first brought together through a love of the London music scene, infuses a gritty indie rocknroll incarnation with big guitar hooks and resounding vocal melodies. 

After receiving great plaudits for their debut EP, The Slaughterhouse Sessions recorded by Adem Hilmi (Florence and the Machine, The Holloways, Pete Doherty), the band’s sound has matured into a more captivating sound that has led them to follow up with a new EP installment. 

The band is currently recording their second EP with French producer JB Pilon (Grace Moon & Jaguar) at London’s Wax Studios. Recent work at Wax has included Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to Black’ band, Paul Jackson (Herbie Hancock’s Head Hunters) and Ian Thomas (Michael Jackson, Dire Straits, Bob Dylan).
