Traversable Message approach in No Way Records with a dark and uncompromising techno ep. Surface is a hypnotic track mowed by a metallic and sharp synth, while in Break through noise meteorites insinuate themselves on a monolithic rhythm. In Emerge the atmosphere becomes more rarefied, while maintaining a precise and pressing rhythmic structure. This track is entrusted to the Sicarius Hahni remix, which maintains the same energy of the original drum machine by wrapping it in a dense and impenetrable nebula. Aleja Sanchez, leading artist of the Colombian techno scene, takes care of the first track of the ep, Surface, transforming the original into a beam of protons launched at high speed.

After a string of three original releases, DJ and producer Linearis takes on the curation reigns, putting together a new Batch Plant volume, and adding his own remix into the game.

Former label alum MTD channels his fondness for deep atmospheres into the opening track, an almost 6 minute-long incursion into dark techno territory, padded with spiralling synths and pensive pads. Etui label owner and Dresden nightlife stalwart Insect O offers up a mind bending slice of bleepy techno that captivates and mesmerizes. Also part of the aforementioned scene, Marcø debuts his first track on the label, showcasing a solemn and somber piece of straightforward late-night techno. Rebar go full on dystopian on their “The Rise Of A Crisis” EP. Despite the suggestive title, the first two tracks were composed before the crisis period, yet seem to fit in perfectly with the times. Title track is an immersive incursion padded with drone zaps and warped basslines that instills tension as well as elation, as the tension is released. “Ray Of Light” offers some much needed introspection in a slice of heads down dub techno with a slight progressive tinge. Drums are the quintessence of rhythm on “Enter The Void”, as percussion creates endless spiralling loops of infectious grooves.

Ahead of his full release on the label, Alexander Kowalski joins with a reinterpretation of the title track. Known for aptly fusing elements from classic Detroit and historical Berlin techno, it’s this imprint that he applies to the track, turning it into a sleek, electro-spacey cut.
