	In 1985, Damon’s first demo was produced by Felton Pilate, lead singer/producer/songwriter for the hit group “Confunkshun”.  From that collaboration, Damon went on to write “The Whispers” (Capitol/Sony Records)  “Don’t Be Late For Love” which was recorded and released in 1990.  Peabo Bryson also recorded 3 songs from the 1985 project, but was never released.

	In 1991, he formed the group “Rize N Shine”, which appeared on several local bay area TV shows, and opened for several local artists.  After the group disbanded in 1994, Damon went on to produce and manage several local acts, ranging from Gospel, Pop, R&B and Rap.

	Re-locating to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1997, he represented Indiana at the State Karaoke Finals in 98, finishing second in a very talented field.  From the talented field of singers, he formed the group “Concept”, playing at various Indianapolis venues.  In 2000, he began collaboration with Keya Benberrry, a talented female songwriter/artist, and formed the duet “II Suave”, and enlisted Felton Pilate (Confunkshun) and Eric Fleming of Atlanta (Cindi Lauper/Monica) to produce the project. Then in 2003, he became the lead singer and pioneer of “The Aberdeen Project”, which to this day, is still going strong and one of Indianapolis’s top R&B/Funk bands.

      In January 2005, Damon re-located back to the Sacramento area, and from 2005-2007, opened the local artist’s show at Bobby T’s.  Then in August, 2007, he returned to school as a theater major and landed a role in “The Importance of Being Ernest” (Merced College), and in December of 2008, he was the lead in Sacramento State’s production of “The Black Nativity”. In June of 2012, he became the Lead Vocalist for “Pointe Blank and Edmund Simental and Sub-lead vocalist for “Groove Thang Band”.  
2012- 2016, Damon became the Male Lead Vocalist for InnerSoul, Sacramento’s Premier Old School R&B, Latin, Dance Band and still subs for them.

     Currently, he is the lead vocalist for Northern California's #1 Funk/R&B horn band Hipper than Hip.(2019-Present).

The release of his current project is scheduled for release in 2023/2024.

   Damon, has the natural ability to portray a vast range of emotions through a powerful Bass/Baritone/Tenor voice, and has strong songwriting and producing skills.  He also possesses an uncanny ability to imitate any artist.  However, it’s the stage and the performing of music, that he loves the most and captivates his audience with his energy and passion…..something he learned from his influences, which earned him the nickname “Concert”.
