The synth-pop duo "Madeleine" is an eclectic and captivating ensemble that draws inspiration from two timeless symbols: the Parisian neighborhood "Madeleine" and Proust's iconic madeleine in his famous work “À la recherche du temps perdu”. 
The duo split between Italy and France is composed of Giorgia Di Feo on vocals and Luca Saja on drums and synthesizers. 
They bring with them a significant musical background, both being members of the former alternative rock group "The Groots," mentioned by RockIt and various Italian and international webzines and radio stations. 
The change in lineup led them to experiment with new sounds inspired by their shared passion for the '80s and synth-pop, giving birth to an album that much like the Parisian neighborhood is a conjunction of past and modernity, where art and music come together in a cosmopolitan embrace. 
This neighborhood perfectly reflects the duo's aesthetic, where vintage merges with the modern and the past meets the present. 
Like Marcel Proust's literary sensitivity, the group's lyrics are like pages from an intimate diary, where reflections on life, love, and nostalgia blend with the vibrant musicality of the '80s and ‘90s.
