Glenn Astro currently resides in Essen and has spent half his life producing and DJ'ing. He started out with Hip-Hop and later got into ultra soulful House music.

Glenn returns with another gang of grooves. His warm, soul-infused "Hologram" EP is  is forthcoming on WotNot Music and is set to be released on vinyl March 23rd and digitally early April.

None other than Henry Wu (22a) was called in for help to remix "Love Is Gone", which he does with a delightful, jazz-instilled flip. Since we have been following both closely for a while, we are stoked to exclusively premiere this particular track of the Hologram EP.

Bradley Zero's swashbuckling efforts with Rhythm Section continue to induce pleasure across the office and beyond. His regular soirees at Canavans Pool Hall are typified by the type of loose, one-love community ethos that many club nights would starve for; red neon lit, set time-less and buoyed by an all-encompassing music policy. Naysayers need only check Edd Fisher this Saturday in Peckham. On top of that, the RS discography stockpile is quickly blossoming into a well-nurtured settling for talent; undeterred by genre or location, and instead driven by an unwavering feel good factor. There's already been woozy, drifting deep house from Melbourne's Prequel and the velvety hook up with Vancouver's Mood Hut rep Local Artist to digest. Just six releases in, and the air miles have definitely been totting up.

As the title suggests, RS007 resides a bit closer to home than previous entries. Good Morning Peckham is Henry Wu's (@wuesli) ode to his local area, built around his now recognised style of off-kilter, slacker house. "Dubplate Special" is a special lecture in groove; a marriage between succulent bass sways and radiant Rhodes piano that's oh so ripe for summer.

San Francisco-based Butane makes his debut on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with three hypnotizing productions this October.

Founder of Alphahouse and Little Helpers, Andrew Rasse aka Butane has been building a solid reputation as a respectable DJ, producer and label owner for over a decade now. When not releasing his low-slung dancefloor focused cuts on his own imprints the multifaceted American has made appearances on SCI+TEC, Crosstown Rebels and Moan. He now appears on Hottrax joining a roster spanning wAFF, Patrick Topping, Mat.Joe, Bunte Bummler, Raumakustik, Dms12 and Jamie himself.

A gentle thud initiates ‘Addicted’, making way for a throbbing synth that warps and distorts throughout the mix whilst a fuzzy bassline operates beneath it. ‘Lock and Key’ focuses on intricate percussion whilst dusky atmospherics and a medley of nuances are introduced throughout before ‘Shark Attack’ concludes the package with a rumbling low-end and compelling groove.

Butane ‘Addicted’ EP drops on Hottrax on 21st October 2016.

Barcelona based DJ and producer Art Department provides an energetic remix of Nitin’s ‘Sunday Grey’ EP, flipping the title track with a menacing motif.

As the ‘Sunday Grey’ EP is set for release on No. 19 Music, the label run by Art Department and Nitin, it’s fitting that both artists get involved in supplying new material. The original is decidedly more soothing than the remix, which is more tuned for high energy moments.

By transforming the atmospheric nature of ‘Sunday Grey’, Art Department lets the deep, resounding bass echo throughout the track as techy melodies ring in and deliver a more cosmic approach.

Nitin’s ‘Sunday Grey’ EP will be released on May 8, and features a second original paired with a remix by The Mole.
