Yamuna Devi sings a beautiful tune she heard sung by Srila Prabhupada, singing Ishta-deve Vijnapti by Srila Narottama Das Thakur, which was Srila Prabhupada's favorite prayer to sing.

hari hari! bifale janama gonainu
manushya-janama paiya, radha-krishna na bhajiya,
janiya suniya visha khainu

golokera prema-dhana, hari-nama-sankirtana,
rati na janmilo kene tay
samsara-bishanale, diba-nisi hiya jwale,
juraite na koinu upay

Vrajendra-nandana jei, saci-suta hoilo sei,
balarama hoilo nitai
dina-hina jata chilo, hari-name uddharilo,
tara sakshi jagai madhai

ha ha prabhu nanda-suta, vrishabhanu-suta-juta,
koruna karoho ei-baro
narottama-dasa koy, na theliho ranga pay,
toma bine ke ache amara

Translation:

(1) 0 Lord Hari, I have spent my life uselessly. Having obtained a human birth and having not worshiped Radha and Krishna, I have knowingly drunk poison.

(2) The treasure of divine love in Goloka Vrindavana has descended as the congregational chanting of Lord Hari’s holy names. Why did my attraction for that chanting never come about? Day and night my heart burns from the fire of the poison of worldliness, and I have not taken the means to relieve it.

(3) Lord Krishna, who is the son of the King of Vraja, became the son of Saci (Lord Caitanya), and Balarama became Nitai. The holy name delivered all those souls who were lowly and wretched. The two sinners Jagai and Madhai are evidence of this.

(4) 0 Lord Krishna, son of Nanda, accompanied by the daughter of Vrishabhanu, please be merciful to me now. Narottama dasa says, "O Lord, please do not push me away from Your reddish lotus feet, for who is my beloved except for You?"

On 24-May-2016, Gurudev presented a keynote address to 175 professionals from across the city at EY London Bridge as part of the Veda London outreach preaching project, which aims to package the Vedic philosophy and culture in an accessible way for the corporate world. 

The topic was "Happiness, an inside job" in which Gurudev explained what happiness means and then explains the different stages to attain it from a Vedic perspective This was followed by a Q&A session, Kirtan and Prashad

The example is given here by Srila Prabhupada of a tree. In the blazing sun a tree gives us shelter. We do not even have to ask the tree. All we have to do is be near the tree. Its not that you go under the tree and say, “Oh, please tree give me shade”. You do not have to ask. You get it, without asking. That’s the nature of a tree. But you have to take the shelter of the tree. The problem is, when it is cloudy day, we do not even look at the tree, right? we just walk by another tree and so many trees. But when the sun is blazing, then we look at the tree. We understand its value. So similarly, unfortunately, when there is not crisis in our lives, we chant yes, the holy name and so many names. “I am chanting so many names”. We come before the deities yes, yes so many deities and saying such a nice deity. But when there is crisis, Hare Krishna. We chant. When there is crisis and we come before the deities we are no longer just nice to again see Krishna. Krishna save me.
