Double Dippin'

Broken hearts are a familiar ache, the kind that makes you think it’s the end of everything. This song is about that moment when you realize you’re not together anymore — whether they left, or life pulled you apart. The memories remain, both good and bad, and you can’t help but ask yourself, how did it come to this? Tears don’t lie, even when your heart refuses to accept the truth: they aren’t coming back. All you can do is sit with the sorrow, remembering what was, feeling every moment of love and loss. Yet within that grief, there’s a fragile thread of hope. Time may not heal all at once, but slowly, surely, the weight lifts. This song carries both the sorrow and the faint promise that it will pass — even if it feels like it never will.

Echoes of yesterday

This track is dedicated to Altnaharra in Scotland and the people who were moved off their land by land owners during the “clearances” of  the 18th and 19th century. It is also dedicated to the people suffering from the same ongoing process elsewhere in the World.
