World Canvas has the pleasure to present Kaino Kim Vieno's song 'Sörnäinen', a vulnerable, balladic expression off of their upcoming debut album.
The single release is accompanied by a music video by Lännen tehtaat, premiering on the online art editorial platform AQNB on the November 17th.

'Sörnäinen' is the first single from Kaino Kim Vieno's upcoming debut album 'For Those Who Wait'.
They produced the track in collaboration with Murrettumeri, during a 5-day album recording session in Turku, during which a bird got trapped in the studio, but finally found its way out.

as AI develops, it’s harder to determine whether only people have senses.
humans have discovered recently the next sense among robots and machines - they called it The 7th Sense - “randomness”. when given a particular task, they began to glitch. orchidvial tried to give machines free will and autonomy - the things that only humans are supposed to have.

“when making this project i always had this machine or algorithm in mind, whose purpose is to generate simple music, which does not hold too much meaning on its own. like background music, which plays in advertisements for example... but for whatever reason, due to an error or maybe the system somehow gaining consciousness and being bored with its given tasks, the produced output sounds warped. the tracks are always deconstructing and reconstructing themselves, sounds and rhythms are appearing out of nowhere.“

“SENSORIK” has been produced using also the 6th sense - “intuition”. the result is an incredibly pleasant experience for a human.

I'm a Christlike figure in the sense that I idiotically wear a crown of thorns that incessantly cuts and perforates the skin on my head, leaving me bleeding and in pain. "‘Dreams on Foothill’ is a collection of compositions made over the last year. I envisioned the project as location-music involving meditation and field recording in a certain environment. I would find a quiet place to sit or walk, listening and feeling the space. Afterwards I compose above the recording. Simple melodies move around the space. Awareness, projection, prayer, reflection. I am exploring how melody can represent consciousness and emotion in their materiality, affected in movement and weight by the space around them. Melody as the harmony of mind that tries to gather chaotic data."

👻The first time I watched this movie and heard the soundtrack, I was captured by its beautiful, magical, stunning, and enchanting music. I have always wanted to make an arrangement for my favorite track, Casper's Lullaby. 

👻Through this arrangement, my brother and I composed some original compositions to compliment the main theme.
