The snarish sound at the beginning is really harsh.

This has so many really great elements. It just seems like a little more composition variation and then mixing / mastering cleanup and it would amazing. Maybe keep all the MIDI and use some more friendly synths after the contest.

Great track !  Excellent sound design and cool funky music. Everything in this track works together very well indeed. I particularly liked the twisty bass / snappy perc combination here. Super ! Much enjoyed :)

I really like this one. Sounds like Luke Vibert decided to join the party.

Snare here is too loud id make it about 4-6 db lower than your kick.

yeah the drum mix seems to be louder than the kick , Kick / Bass balance is good but the drum mix is too loud imo.

I'd have brought those keys up in volume to match the basses top end. They're lovely show them off.

Aside from the problems with balance of the mix overall some really great sounds and parts. For the mix I think those keys should have been the spotlight with the bass not going so leary in places and being more predictable for the overall groove. A fun track with a lot of style.

This time I had a throwback to my earlier darksynth ideas. This synth is capable of some abrasive FM style sounds as well as classic subtractive ones. There are a lot of modulation possibilities and some effect to mangle the sound. It's also very light on the CPU. I had a lot of fun tweaking the presets and creating my own sounds.
