I locked in for a few weeks to polish some tracks and I didn't stop until they were finished. I played them live and loved watching people's reactions. JAYMZ is a 24-year-old DJ/producer from Rotterdam. He already played many raves where he developed his own distinctive style of techno with a trancy twist. His sound defines a big variety of styles. From a harder rave orientated sound to combining more groovy and bouncy tracks to keep it full of high energy.

Il construit des performances où chaque choix de morceau s’adapte à l’ambiance, transformant chaque drop en un moment unique avec le public. Inspiré par des artistes tels que TARS, Vortek’s, Ueberrest ou Mosmoz, Ratchet façonne un univers sonore énergique, festif et profondément connecté au dancefloor.

Basé à Montréal, il fonde La Filouterie, une série d’événements où se croisent jeunes talents et figures établies de la scène locale. Avec un son signature, Ratchet s’impose sur les line-ups de collectifs reconnus comme Nightshift, DSTP, Overloud, Down2Techno ou Techno Crudo.

Le 5 septembre 2025, il fait ses débuts en production avec Momentum, un premier EP qui pose les fondations de son identité discographique.

Sur scène, il a partagé les platines avec des artistes de la scène montréalaise comme Meen Moreen ou Ben Solo, ainsi qu’internationaux tels que Ōxymore

Based in Montréal, Ratchet is the founder of La Filouterie, a series of events showcasing rising DJs alongside well-established local talents. With his signature sound, he’s earned a place on the lineups of respected collectives such as Nightshift, DSTP, Overloud, Down2Techno, and Techno Crudo.
