RÅCKSTA is a duo formed by Matt Cavina (ex-Madre Sun) and Duda (ex-Johnny Trapaceiro), based in Stockholm/Sweden.

The duo brings a mix of influences from various aspects of Rock Music and other genres.
The idea for the name came naturally, as Råcksta is an old district in the city of Stockholm, where Matt and Duda met again for the first time after years, to compose and record the songs of this Debut EP.

I'm a guitarist, songwriter, backing vocalist, producer and founder of the heavy metal band Cavina. I've been in many bands and i could get in the studio to record many times as a guitarist and producer. My  influence is the blues of Robert Johnson, Howlin 'Wolf, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson..also Black Sabbath, The Black Crowes, Alice in Chains and UFO. O CONTRA! é constituído por cinco integrantes que tem em comum o mesmo foco, "a música", o Rock N’ Roll na veia e na alma. Iniciado na cidade de Cesário Lange – SP, com integrantes de Tatuí-SP, Cesário Lange- SP, São José do Rio Preto – SP e São Paulo-SP. 

Todos já estão na estrada a algum tempo, com idades, bagagens, pesquisas, influências, experiências diferentes, que vai desde o Blues do Mississipi e navega entre o Rock N’ Roll nacional e internacional. 

Com histórias, shows, bares, festivais, dúvidas, descobertas, tentativas ... muitas tentativas até encontrar o ponto certo! Uma alquimia que só poderia resultar nisso! O CONTRA! Conta com os irmãos Edu Mortati (voz) e Matteus Mortati (guitarra e voz), Dauri Silva (baixo e voz) e Natan Wolf (guitarra e voz), que são pai e filho e finalmente o quinto elemento,  o Lúcio (batera) que já vinha acompanhando todos em outros projetos nos ultimos anos, e sempre fez parte da família...

O CONTRA! vem com força total pra fazer a diferença! Mesmo remando contra a maré, a banda vem fazendo sua própria história. Sempre com shows bem dinâmicos e profissionais, com direitos a duelos de guitarras, 4 vozes, gritos agúdos e rasgados, calças e jaquetas de couro, cabelos compridos e um repertório bem Rock N’ Roll, incluindo Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, The Beatles, Neil Young, Guns N’ Roses, Motorhead, etc. Tudo isso com uma pegada CONTRA!, deixando tudo com uma certa personalidade. 

E é claro, com suas próprias músicas (Quando eu Morrer, Contra-Mão, Ira, Abismo, Com Você Ou Sem Você, etc, que fazem parte da demo BOMBA-CASEIRA (quefoi gravada com pouca grana e MUITO suor), e outras que ainda não foram gravadas).

Formed by brothers Eduardo Cavina (lead vocals/bass) and Matteus Cavina (backing vocals/guitar) along with Javier Sanchez on drums, CAVINA is a London based band, a state of our minds where Heavy Metal meets Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Born in Brazil in 2012, just one year later our 4 song demo reached radios and webradios in Spain, England, Mexico, France, Canada, USA.
We played at several venues and festivals in Brazil, also our release show of the first EP was broadcasted live on MTV Brazil and on the internet over 40 countries.
In 2014 our single "Better" was exclusively released by Rolling Stone Magazine Brazil.

Since the band moved to London in 2016, Cavina's name has been spread out in the Rock and Metal scene, with gigs across the city, some more to be announced, and recently we’ve participate of Metal 2 Masses competition for Bloodstock Festival 2017 and the band reaching until the semi-finals..

Cavina was considered in 2017 one of the best 11 brazilian bands of the new generation by Wikimetal, one of the biggest metal websites in Latin America."

In 2018 the band will release their debut album.
