A retrospective of artworks by Danish artist øjeRum (Paw Grabowski) exploring the complex relationship of humans and plants. Extending far back into our joint evolutionary history our deep relationship with, and understanding of, plants has enabled us to harness their nutritional, medicinal, and aesthetic benefits. Plants are central to our well-being, not only as food, but also as key components of our cultures, religions, and medicines. Through a unique hand collage technique, this series delves deeply into man’s connection to the natural world. It is a surrealist herbarium that intertwines bodies, minds and nervous systems through the vastness of plants, vines and flowers species. The major global challenges we face also impact our relationship with plants; we must protect their biodiversity, which holds vital information and solutions that can help us to cope with these problems. Plants are the life line that sustain humans and animals, and this book is an homage to our shared history.

A long form set with @ninfkanina from back in November 2k19 at Sidereal ~ a loft party in SoHo. Everyone was laying on the floor talking quietly, bonding, unwinding, perfect vibe honestly. Nina plays for about the first 60, IKJ plays the next 60, then we just let it rip b2b style. Play this anywhere and everywhere.. peace =)

Split release by Piper Spray and Lena Tsibizova — two musicians whose sound can be described as bedroom electronics or low-fi ambient. Lena and Piper Spray are also members of the Air Krew collective along with their third bandmate Sergey Podluzhny, who is on mastering duties for this record.

Following the first track’s title, the album begins with a nostalgic synthesizer melody which pours on the listener like rays of the midday sun, bringing forward recollections of a pleasant half-forgotten time. However, memory not only holds the serene and nostalgic — it can also evoke painful and anxious images or even mislead its carrier by synthesizing new details and meanings.

The album seems to be transforming in a similar pattern. Arrhythmic beats, glitchy effects and faint voices — like spores of the unconsciousness that break through shallow sleep and fill the gaps in memory — gradually come forward, taking over the melodic element. By the second half of the record, the naive nostalgia disintegrates into distant echoes and the sound takes the form of a collage which almost sounds like magnetic tape experiments.

Despite the difference in tone and techniques, the two tracks here are not antagonists. They complement each other, presenting memory mechanisms and the experience of acute reflection in different colors.

The compilation also includes my new track Dalila Delarosa - Don't fade away. This track is associated with the most pleasant feelings and memories. This is the first time I've used my voice in music.
