This May will see Kerri Chandler’s MadTech records offer up the ‘MadTech 02 - Ibiza’ compilation, comprising twenty-six tracks from some of the most hotly tipped acts in contemporary electronic music.

The MadTech imprint has been running since 2012 and can boast material from the likes of Citizen, South London Ordnance, Applebottom and Josh Butler across its catalogue, here its A&R prowess is once again on radiant display as the label continues it’s compilation series following the success of MadTech 01. This time round the imprint delivers a weighty collection of hard-hitting house cuts with ‘MadTech 02 - Ibiza’ ahead of the impending Ibiza season.

The compilation welcomes some driving forces in house music at present with the likes of Josh Butler, Alexis Raphael, Leftwing & Kody, Cera Alba, Max Chapman, Celsius and Jonny Cade delivering exclusive content. In typical MadTech fashion the label has caught onto some promising up and comers early to boot, namely Black Girl/White Girl, Howson’s Groove, Simba and Cristoph.

This compilation also allows MadTech to shed light on some additional rising talents outside of its core release schedule with further offerings coming from Human Life, Bontan, Luvstuff, Third Son, Ten Story, Rich Wakley and many more.

Why HIPPIES?
 
HIPPIES is a label I’ve been following from there launch, the branding instantly caught my eye and the music ticked all the boxes. The guys are really working hard and I see big things just around the corner for the team at HIPPIES so it made perfect sense to throw a demo there way and was very pleased to get the green light. I’m sure you will hear a solo release from me on their very soon so watch this space.

BIO:

Label owner, DJ and producer Nightshift is a very popular figure among house heads in the UK due to being one of the pioneers of London’s gritty twist on house music.
 
From 2013 – 2015 he has featured on some of the industry’s biggest labels including Pete Tongs FFRR with a remix of Lokate’s (Now Solardo) track Flow  and travelled the Country / world showcasing his own music, most recently Circus in Tokyo and Forsage Club in Ukraine.
 
In more recent times as the scene has progressed so has his music. Nightshift is now known for his bumpy, rolling tech house which has bought him recent releases on Madtech & Younan Music with support from artists such as Sidney Charles, Riva Star, Groove Armada, Shiba San, Majesty and SKT to name just a few.
 
2016 will see the release of lots of material with forthcoming music on Chapeau, Basica Recordings, Defined music, Madtech and HIPPIES so expect to hear more from Nightshift very very soon.
