Voc first started spinning records at the age of 12. Growing up on the south side of Chicago provided him with many influences such as the Hot Mix 5, Pharris Thomas, Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, Lil Louis and Steve Hurley. Voc made a few appearances on the big stage early on.  Those appearances included the Ascot Hotel (Chicago), The Hyde Park Racketball Club (Chicago) and a guest appearance on WKKC Chicago in the 1989.  These appearances were along side of several House Music legends.  Voc has and continues to make guest appearances at different venues and events in the Chicagoland area.  He has been a guest DJ on Chicago's Soul 106.3 FM along side of Mike Dunn, Dj Lil John and Sundance as well as WKKC 89.3 F.M. Chicago.  Radio appearances also include 2 FM stations in the U.K. and 1 in South Africa giving him FM airway experience on 3 continents.  Voc joined the CHR family in January of 2009.  He continues as a resident Dj on chicagohouseradio.com where he is the creator of the "Operation Underground" mix show.   Voc took an absence from actively mixing for over ten years. In 2007, he made a return to mixing and hasn't looked back. Voc continues to bring you Classic/Disco while focusing on introducing you to the new underground style of house with hints of a unique type of music that peaks your interest. Voc's goal is to give you a complete house experience with every mix and to leave you wanting more......

Known as a “lawyer by day, DJ by night,” Alan King is one of the early members of the legendary Chicago-based DJ crew, the Chosen Few DJs (now consisting of Alan, Wayne Williams, Jesse Saunders, Tony Hatchett, Terry Hunter, Andre Hatchett and Mike Dunn).  In the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, the Chosen Few DJs was a group of popular DJs from the city’s south side who played their unique brand of soulful dance music to huge crowds at Chicago night spots of historic importance in the birth and development of house music, including Sauer’s, First Impressions, the Playground and the Loft.  Alan’s influence on the house music landscape has been felt for more than 40 years, and he has been cited as an inspiration by countless DJs including legendary house music DJs and producers Frankie Knuckles, Steve "Silk" Hurley and Chip E.  Alan still regularly plays to rave reviews at clubs and events throughout Chicago, the United States and across the world.  The Chosen Few DJs also host the annual Chosen Few Old School Reunion Picnic each July 4th weekend in Chicago, one of the largest and longest running house music festival events in the world!

Steven Encore, is an Illinois native born in Chicago, under the name Steven Fitch. Steven started collecting music in 1983, by 1985 House Music was everywhere in the Chicagoland area and he was hooked on the incredible robust sound. He grew up listening to the HotMix5 on WBMX, and going to clubs like The LeMarge, Music Box, Bismarck Hotel, Resurrection, Divinci Manor, Warehouse (Halsted), and classic basement parties. DJs who have influenced his path include-Farley Funkin Keith, Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, Gene Farris, and Spinning Will Bill. Some of his favorite DJs of today include Black Coffee, Ralf Gum, Osunlade, Mike Dunn, Terry Hunter, and Culoe de Soul. He is part of the HD sound (High Soul Deep House).
