Carla Monterrubio, cantante, guitarrista y compositora mexicana de Rock Pop originaria  de Poza Rica Veracruz. 
Sus influencias abarcan distintos tipos de rock y pop, desde Paramore, Avril Lavigne,  Foo Fighters y Green Day, hasta bandas mas veteranas como Bon Jovi y Aerosmith.
Actualmente se encuentra grabando su primer EP.

MCKLOPEDIA was born as a project which cornerstone would be the tireless search of new sounds through the experimentation with music, improvisation and groove as primary elements. On this basis, what once was an experiment now consolidates itself as a band that seeks to merge south-american traditional elements with genres like Soul, R&B, Funk and Hip-Hop by adapting the rithmic root of the african heritage. 

	These are a few of the guidelines that make up the proposal since its formation in 2010.

	MCKLOPEDIA's nature and philosophy ignores the ordinary framework in conventional western music  creation in order to reinvent itself constantly, using music as a vessel that carries the message that is expressed  through the thougthtful lyrics in it songs.

	MCKLOPEDIA's goals for 2014 will be to put forward its latest album and to propagate its music from an interactive, audiovisual and global perspective without distinction of borders or language, keeping active its creative process regarding the production of quality audiovisual content with an universal nature.

Nació en Latacunga un 15 de agosto de 1993, después de vivir en Quito durante 19 años, ahora reside en México D.F. donde cursa sus estudios superiores en la carrera de Producción musical contemporánea en la Academia de música Fermatta, reconocida como la mejor escuela de música a nivel latinoamericano.
Cuenta con dos maquetas las cuales son "Poeta en la madrugada" y "Tragicomedia"; grabadas entre 2011 y 2012.
Actualmente es vocalista de la banda Ecua-xicana (Ecuador - México), "Chulla Vida" la cual mezcla ritmos de blues, funk, metal y rock; todas estas con rap. EP de la banda https://soundcloud.com/chullavida
