Eric has inspired millions as composer, conductor, innovator, broadcaster and charismatic public speaker. His compositions rank among the most popular and frequently performed of the early 21st century, their reach broadened since 2010 by the extraordinary success of his online Virtual Choir project. Light & Gold, his first album as composer and conductor, won the 2012 Grammy® Award for Best Choral Recording and instantly topped the US and UK classical album charts.

Born in Nevada, he discovered a passion for choral music while studying at UNLV and he began composing soon after. He went on to study at the Juilliard School of Music in New York under John Corigliano. Many of his choral compositions, Cloudburst, Lux Aurumque and Sleep among them, have entered the standard choral repertoire and his orchestral music has been performed by some of the world’s most distinguished orchestras both sides of the Atlantic. Eric is currently Composer-in-Residence at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University, UK.

A distinguished speaker, Eric has been invited to address the UN Leaders Programme, give the closing plenary at Davos World Economic Forum and to speak for UNICEF and Google among others. He has appeared twice on the main stage at the global TED conference in Long Beach CA, earning standing ovations on both occasions. Recent Virtual Choir projects include ‘Glow’ written for the Winter Dreams holiday show at Disneyland© Adventure California and the Virtual Youth Choir, in association with UNICEF, which premiered at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. Broadcast live to 119 countries worldwide, Eric made his iTunes Festival debut with his professional choir in 2014, inviting multi award-winning composer and conductor Hans Zimmer to join him on stage. The performance was consequently released as a live album. Eric returned to the Minnesota Orchestra for a second residency in 2015 culminating in three performances at Orchestra Hall.


West coast Canadian born Devin Roth travels the world seeking adventure and natural vistas of beauty as inspiration for his music. As a composer and pianist, Devin paints musical landscapes inspired by his experiences which capture the hearts and minds of his listeners. His music is much more than just jazz; his musical finesse and compositional prowess display a broad pallet of various styles including classical, rock, Latin and Celtic.
Childhood Places, Devin’s debut album, features compositions inspired by the beautiful landscapes of British Columbia, Canada and the experiences of his adventurous outdoor upbringing in this dramatic geography. The fast flowing streams and majestic mountains of his childhood home are specifically exemplify in his compositions “Kettle River” and “Okanagan Mountain”.
Devin attended McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada where he studied with Juno Award winning pianist, Jeff Johnston, and Juno Award winning composer, Christine Jensen, to earned a Bachelors of Music Jazz Piano Performance. Following his graduation he was awarded a scholarship to attend the Jazz Composition program at New England Conservatory in Boston, MA where he studied with some of the world’s greatest jazz musicians including the legendary bassist Dave Holland, Grammy award winning bassist Cecil McBee and multiple Grammy nominated pianist Fred Hersch.  As a result of his high level of achievement, Devin received a Masters of Music with Academic Honors and was inducted into the Pi Kappa Lambda music honors society.
On more than one occasion, Devin’s compositions were selected and featured by the Toronto Jazz Orchestra at their annual “O Canada Celebrating Canadian Composition” concert. In 2010, he was selected to compete in the Jazz En Rafale talent contest in Montreal and subsequently went on to place 2nd in the competition. Devin was also a finalist for the ASCAP Young Jazz Composers’ Awards for two years running in 2011 and 2012.
Devin is pursuing a career in composition and performance that is designed to bridge the gap between jazz, classical, rock and folk by dipping into a well of influence that includes Dave Holland, Charles Ives, Radiohead and Joni Mitchell. As a result of his wide range of influences, he is able to bring his audience on a unique musical adventure.

I am a film/game music composer living in Boulder, Colorado. My idols in the film music world are composers like James Horner, Jerry Goldsmith and Alan Silvestri. I am a composer for various types of media: video games, film, TV, etc. My background and inspiration is a mix of classical music, choral singing, and metal. I love music and I'm fascinated by it's ability to move people (both on emotional and physical level). My hope and sole purpose for writing is that someday somewhere just one person will be moved by it.
