I don't play video games anymore, and it's been a long while since I touched Minecraft, but I can recall watching people stream it for hours on end, and I was once guilty of doing the same. While it was never *that* bad in my case, and I still kept myself in pretty good shape, I still got pretty defensive about people judging my usage. So here's a shitpost about that. Hopefully it's not as relatable as I think it is.

Also, I recognize that this post is dangerously close to "slowed + reverb" territory, but honestly this joke sounds better that way. I'll try not to make a habit of it, though - partially because I have to conserve minutes and slowing stuff down does the exact opposite of that.

Well, after layering "Hexagonist" over the instrumental of Zukesers latest track (that track being https://soundcloud.com/zukesers/body), I realized that they actually kinda went well together. "But just having those two slapped together on their own wouldn't be enough to make a worthwhile post!" I said, forgetting all the times when I've posted lower-effort ideas that did well. (Looking at you, "Torture.wav". I hate that track, by the way.)

Anyways, take this as proof that more effort does not necessarily yield a better or more worthwhile product. Also, if you're going to do fancy clip manipulation - à la the original - for your mashups, get software that's better than Audacity. Don't make my mistake.

(Also, bonus points to anyone who can find the Soundcloud conversation that this new thumbnail is based off of.)
