2CRY4 is the kick off to a new series of various artist compilations by 2DIY4, the sister label of Diynamic, both of which were founded by Solomun. Nine previously unheard tracks of gentle indie-electronica with drive are bound together on these releases to put the listener into a certain state: contemplative.

A very dreamy and unintrusive sound that shows the inherent beauty in melancholia. The stirring voices, surrounded by atmospheric soundscapes, immediately paints pictures of romance, heartache and sometimes hope in your mind.

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new series at Innervisions called “Quantum Spits”.
House music has been around for decades, and throughout its evolution, it has spawned numerous sub-genres. “Quantum Spits” aims to explore and celebrate this diversity by dedicating each release to a particular aspect of this thing we call House. 
Our goal is to provide a platform for both established and up-and-coming producers to express their unique take on house music while also paying homage to the roots of the genre.

We are kicking off the series with Skatman, the Tunisian-born producer, DJ and label head. On „Rewarped“ he slams old school hip-hop samples into some raw and pumping house tracks, providing a fresh and up to date connection between these distinct musical eras to deliver six new cuts of raw concise electronic music. 

“Taking familiar elements and giving them a fresh twist,” says Skatman aka Aziz Haddad.

Fresh off a few top-of-the-range hors d'oeuvres to whet our appetite, Tal Fussman resurfaces on his dedicated imprint Survival Tactics with his longed-for debut album, 'The Fine Line in Between'. Our dearest @mulyamusic returned from the haunted house with a psycho-paranoid monster called "Samanas" and there's no space left dropping jokes this time. The tight and aggressive beat is covered by annoying arpeggiated noises not to mention those crying voices asking for help somewhere from down the execution area. The Drifter returns to Maeve with a bang. This 2-tracker carries a familiar Drifty feel but is a total graduation for the label founder.

Everything sounds better, his voice, the machines, the mix - this is next level. The vocal on title track, "Ultraviolet" has a distinctive darkwave feel, a touch melancholic, but accomplished. Brooding synth bass underpins the track leading the listener into the cosmic abyss, a journey one is only too happy to surrender themselves to. The trip continues with "Avoid The Void", an ironic title given the listeners fate so far. On this cut we lose the melancholy and march straight to the dance floor. Littered with ping pong acid warbles, clipped vocal samples and driving drums, Avoid the Void is a single minded monster.

It may have taken some time for The Drifter to come correct with original work, but after listening to this its hard to argue it wasn't worth the wait.
