Giovanni Nehme (born 3 January 1994), is a Lebanese singer born in Beirut. Started his own solo career in 2001. He also enjoys playing the violin along other several instruments and arts.

 

Musical career

 

Being a Tenor and Countertenor Singer with a range reaching up to C6#, Giovanni always had an indescribable passion for classical music. For this reason, he applied to study Opera art and Oriental music due to his oriental influences.

He featured in many events and TV programs, knowing his special appearance at Royal Opera House Muscat, Expo Milano, Future TV Lebanon, MTV Lebanon, Telelumiere.

In Many Choirs: Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music Choir, Vivace Ensemble, BYC, USJ Choir, The Classical Orchestra of ISF.

 

He enjoyed working with many musicians like Fr. Toufic Maatouk, Colonel Ziad Mrad, Edgard Aoun, Salvatore Scinaldi, Dr. Harout Fazilian, Raymond Ghattas, Yasmina Sabbah

 

Personal Life

 

From the age of seven, Giovanni followed the footsteps of his grandfather (Elias Kiwan Abi- Fadel) who was an orchestra conductor, violin and oud teacher. Giovanni inherited from him his love for the violin and his gift for music, mentioning that his mother was also a soloist in many choirs.

 

Remarkable Timeline Events

 

In 2005, he met Mrs Nisrine Al Hosny(Voice Coach), where she offered him to sing in school concerts.

In 2009, he had a special invitation to sing in Medjugorje – Bosnia and Herzegovina where it was his first experience abroad.
In 2010, he joined St Elie Youth Choir Antelias conducted by Dr. Colonel Ziad Mrad where he participated in Oratorio de notre temps by USEK University, assisted by Dr Harout Fazlian


In 2011, he was invited to sing in a play for Gisele Hachem Zard (Playwright): “Maryam Chez Teta” as Soloist and voice over singer.


In 2014, he entered The Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. 

In 2015, he participated in Ibn Battuta Project by Arabesque Production as soloist at Oman and Milano Italy.

In 2016, he took a workshop with the Lebanese Actor Jihad Al Andary at Beit El Fannan conservatory for arts - Fanar, and participated as Soloist in Vivace Choir Conducted by Yasmina Sabbah and USJ Choir, got a certification in foudations of success workshop.

 In 2017, followed working with Conductor Yasmina Sabbah on:

Giovanni has never neglected his passion for Technology for that he studied Computer Science juggling between music and digital world.

Nesstor creates noise with intent. Driving, deep, psychedelically infused, progressive, yet always organic noise. Techno and house music mean more to him than just a form of dance music; they serve as vehicles for emotional journeys, which is reflected in his storytelling sets. Since establishing his studio on the grounds of Bahnwärter Thiel in Munich, the focus has shifted more towards production. With releases on labels such as Bull In A China Shop, Dantze, Harabe, YION and others he brings a wealth of experience to the controls. As a long-time organizer of the Netzwerk-Events and the MiLA Festival in southern Germany, he also possesses a keen sense for the shifting dynamics on any dance floor.

The MAFT experience not only allows for the transportation of the audience's minds and souls into a state of euphoria, but makes listeners feel re-invigorated. A therapy, a form of escapism at its purest, or simply elation, call it what you want, for one thing remains certain, it will make for a life of its own.
