This project comes together as a “Various Artists Compilation Album” in support of the 60 children from “Fundación Renacimiento" (a foundation based in the heart of Mexico City in “Tepito”), which helps in the development and growth of children victims of social abandonment. During this very difficult time we are facing as a result of COVID 19, we believe our project will bring support and hope for a brighter future to these children. 


The purpose of CHILDREN OF THE FUTURE - Volume 2 - Maga & Friends, is to gather a great panel of artists to gift their music, and gather financial support to “Fundación Renacimiento”. 

This is a NON PROFIT charity cause, and 100% of the revenue will be given directly to Fundación Renacimiento.

We have brought together artists we love from around the world to create a story about our home and our capacity to unite. Inspired by Earth and the ever-changing Universe, the music blends organic sounds with a cosmic side of the electronic spectrum.

This album features Saisons Musique residents Kora, Oiseau de nuit, Wuachuma, Ðexter Crowe, and döb.

We also warmly welcome Sobhan, Teom, MEL BELL, Carlos Barbero, Kimao, Contenance, BOHEM, Manu Lopez, and Thomas Hernan to the imprint for the first time.

We hope it resonates with you as much as it does with us.

Akbal Music Editions is a new sub-label of Akbal Music focusing on quality electronic music with no boundaries. Curated by Robbie Akbal, the label will showcase a diverse range of music styles.

The debut release from the new label, Las Coloradas, is a collaborative project featuring Kora, Robbie Akbal, and Alice Rose. Recorded across multiple locations, including Montreal and Koh Phangan, Thailand, the project captures a unique blend of creativity. Robbie Akbal explored Alice Rose's vocals and violin during sessions on the island, elevating her artistry to new heights. Later, in Montreal, Robbie teamed up with Kora for a series of vibrant studio sessions, merging Kora's groove and soulful musical expression with Robbie's vision, resulting in a truly magical piece of music.

*Las Coloradas* is a captivating sonic journey, blending tight organic rhythms, earthy tones, hypnotic synths, and warm violin melodies. The production radiates a magical bliss, evoking both melancholic and uplifting emotions—bringing a sense of love and light to the dance floor, which has grown darker and more intense in the post-COVID era. May these sounds bring a sense of peace and harmony into your life.
