As Anton MAKe continued his assault on the underground dance scene, "Bulletproof" marked a new chapter in the Russian artist's arsenal. After a successful first volume in July 2020 in which five original tracks shone a light on Anton's skill and creativity, "Bulletproof, Vol. 2" continues the series with a trio of original tracks and a pair of high-class remixes.

Opening with the heavy rhythmic overtones of "LucyLidia", a grooved bassline quickly takes hold while percussive effects pan the stereo spectrum. A heavily modulated synth lead makes its presence felt while delicate motifs swirl hypnotically as the track evolves, reaching its melodic zenith at the breakdown before dropping back into the dense rhythmic forest in the second half. "Rotas" continues the strong percussive narrative, paired with a heavy beat. A glorious array of sumptuous pads and ‘rise and fall' arpeggio soon picks up the pace, reaching an octave pitched crescendo at the mid-point. Pausing for breath, all melodic elements then combine once more with the rhythmic backdrop to mesmerising effect in the second half. The third original track sees "Sator" make a powerful statement with a heavy, white noise infused bass pattern before complementary pads and symphonic strings filter into sonic range. Gloriously evocative, a glittering array of melodies wax and wane in gated and glissando fashion to continue a powerful and mature production narrative running through Anton's work.

Christian Wedekind needs little in the way of introduction. To the underground music fraternity, the German artist's D-Nox moniker has been a byword for quality for almost two decades, both in solo guise and with Brazilian star, Beckers. After an impressive Proton Music debut, remixing Juan Deminicis' "Life on the Moon" with ZAC, D-Nox now returns with a solo reworking of "Denouement" that bristles with dynamic verve and rhythmic prowess. Driving forward with a powerful running bassline, syncopated plucks and clever percussive integration pave the way for the central arpeggio in Anton MAKe's original to make its presence felt with a flowing ease. Delicious strings gently pulsate against the heavy beat before a new bassline makes its play at the breakdown before rhythm and melody join forces in the second half.

Sebastian Sellares has caused quite a stir on Proton Music since a debut remix of Hot TuneiK's "Circles of You" in June 2019. October 2020 then saw Sellares make his full EP debut for the label via his "Jinsei / Zen State" offering. Twin tracks of the highest quality led the way, complemented by a pair of remixes from heavyweights, Nick Muir and Matias Chilano. Now returning for the first time in 2021, the Sebastian Sellares interpretation of "Denouement" retains the original's intensity as a swathe of new production material echoes Vangelis, adding layers of undulating synths. Building with effervescent ease, traces of Anton MAKe's track are felt while the second half hits new heights through a combination of rhythmic and melodic interplay, rising in hypnotic intensity to reach an impressive conclusion.

A quintet of new productions find Anton MAKe, D-Nox and Sebastian Sellares squarely hitting the target in "Bulletproof, Vol. 2".

This project comes together as a “Various Artists Compilation Album” in support of the 60 children from “Fundación Renacimiento" (a foundation based in the heart of Mexico City in “Tepito”), which helps in the development and growth of children victims of social abandonment. During this very difficult time we are facing as a result of COVID 19, we believe our project will bring support and hope for a brighter future to these children. 


The purpose of CHILDREN OF THE FUTURE - Volume 2 - Maga & Friends, is to gather a great panel of artists to gift their music, and gather financial support to “Fundación Renacimiento”. 

This is a NON PROFIT charity cause, and 100% of the revenue will be given directly to Fundación Renacimiento.

'Italian veteran Gai Barone teams up with Micah for three prime cuts showcasing everything we love about the progressive sound. Cerebral and kinetic in equal doses, this is electronic music of the highest order.

The broken beats of ‘Prisma Pt.1’ feels tempered, yet the drama is everywhere around it. The glowing staccato bass is accentuated by flowing choirs of synths and lead keys containing more emotion than an entire civilisation’s collective genetic memory. This is high concept and thoughtful dance music.

A deep, rolling synth acts as the intro for ‘Prisma Pt.2’ before entering into an inviting 4/4 rhythm. Once again, celestial choirs and atonal lead keys effortlessly glide across the drums like an ice skater. Halfway through proceedings, the deep rolling sigh synth appears again, acting as a bookmark in another very engaging story. 

The energy is turned up on ‘Valse, a driving tech-house workout that keeps things simple without ever being derivative. Punchy percussion, a bubbling, balmy bassline, and entertaining vocal samples all add up for a massive dancefloor bomb that aims straight for the main floor jugular.'

Long time Mobilee fans will be pleased to hear Nolan & Luke Brancaccio's "See The Stars“, which encompasses that light and deep much loved Mobilee sound, with a future facing, breaks-infused cosmic journey through growling swelling synths, airy percussion, and evolving evocative vocal and instrumental story lines that interplay into a unique transcendental electronic trip pointing skyward.

We are thrilled to welcome this strong pairing to Mobilee, after collaborations on Crosstown Rebels & Bedrock. 

Nolan returns after recent EP "6AM / Drifter" became one of our favourite releases of 2021. His unique inspired genre-breaking creativity fits with the Mobilee ethos, and he never fails to deliver a quality record that stands the test of time. Luke Brancaccio brings a strong history from amongst the stalwarts of the boundary pushing progressive~melodic world, with many a release on Bedrock, collaborations with Nick Muir and John Digweed, and recent remixes of iconic classics including Rockers Revenge’s “Walkin’ On Sunshine” & Beth Hirsch’s “All I Need” for Last Man Music (legendary label of Maceo Plex, Solomun, UNKLE and Bookashade).

Stelios Vassiloudis' Mobilee debut takes the track to the club. Athens based Stelios is a rising force in electronic music and this rework showcases his depth of talent. Forceful drums drive the vocal message into a late-night stomper, with a sense of space through which to "See The Stars".

Completing the record, Russian stalwart Mike Spirit's alter ego Come Closer returns to the label after the success of "Milla Ella" EP with an ethereal interpretation that transports us immediately to an inner world of darkness and flashing light, further invoking Leyzen's all-encompassing experiential creation.
