KARL JEFFERSON

Inescapable DJ and active representative of the French electronic scene since 1997. Founder in 2002 of Progress Events, it is one of the only French DJ to work in association with labels of Progressive House [Sumsonic, Mechanism, Swift records, Yoshitoshi] for famous Progress Parties. Karl jefferson knew how to be imperative by his artistic qualities, his musical choices, his contact with the public but especially later of numerous residence in postpone Parisian clubs from the age of 17 years.
His music, festive, groovy, sexy, tribal and progressive is a unique journey. Winter, 2005, Island of Reunion with Darren Price and Mika for an Open Air Inoubliable in bit tropical in front of 2000 persons. The summer, 2005 will be for him the revelation to Ibiza, during his DJ-SETS for the private HIFREE events, El Ayoun and Penelope. Autumn, 2005 he take up his agency événementiel [Kimbernyprod] and becomes promoters and dj resident of the evenings Just House [Joachim Garraud, Sandy Rivera, John Acquaviva, Paul Heron, Laurent Wolf.] Winter, 2006, departure for China for a tour of the clubs of Peking where his artistic expression is appreciated in every passages on this new continent...
After the summer, 2006 when he mixes in several private places in Ibiza, he went Latin America with Brazil for a tour of 15 days with DJ Deff Skual. Booking to the club D-EDGE / Sao Paulo, [4th better club of the World according to Mixmag] for 2 years of the evening Mooving. Then Open Air in front of more than 4000 persons is linked enormous 2 to finish in Galeon Club Beach Cambury.
Of return in France for some months the projects of production finalize in association with Yann Solo [Evasive records, New Era recordings and Hoshi Rec, Beatport] . In hardly 31years,karl jefferson confirms his experience in the biggest clubs of the world beside the best DJ / French and international Producers.

Biographie
Né en 1974 en région parisienne, Denny Fisher reçoit une éducation, traditionnelle et religieuse, qui marquera ses créations à venir.

Dès son plus jeune âge, il s'intéresse beaucoup à la musique et apprend les rudiments du solfège.
Ce ne sont pas les œuvres élitistes qui le passionnent, mais bien les plus populaires.
Son adolescence, c'est celle de la génération TOP 50. Il collectionne le magasine et apprend par cœur tous les titres qui entrent au classement.

Denny se passionne autant pour la musique que pour le 7éme art. Il tourne des courts-métrages et joue au théâtre. Il écrit des scénari et des chansons, compose de la musique, joue la comédie et dessine également. Il se réalise aussi dans le domaine de l’organisation et de la production.
Début 90, sa rencontre avec Jean Robert Beaumier "JR Exley" (*1), que Denny considère comme un « véritable génie », marquera son passage côté professionnel. JR et Denny entretiennent une collaboration riche et créative, de plusieurs années, qui va permettre à Denny, de collaborer à des réalisations musicales de renommées mondiales telles que :

Créatif avant tout, il conseille et suit de nombreux entrepreneurs dans la réalisation de leurs projets. Il est à l’origine, notamment, des premiers Pack «tout en 1» (ordinateur et internet // Lyonnaise NOOS - IBM).

Reconnu par ses pairs, comme un excellent organisateur de soirées à Paris, il débute aux Bains Douches (établissement réputé à l'époque) avec des Murder Parties. Cathy et David Guetta seront parmi les premiers à lui confier l’organisation de soirées, au Bataclan, qu’ils viennent de transformer en discothèque. Dorénavant, Il participe dans l’ombre à la création de nombreux lieux et d’évènements marquants. Sa discrétion et son savoir faire en font un partenaire recherché et apprécié, qui dénote par son jeune âge.
Au début des années 2000, il est appelé à la direction artistique de la LOCO, le club du Moulin Rouge.

Son implication dans les associations militantes, ses actions en faveur de l’égalité des droits font parties des éléments fondateurs de sa personnalité. Denny Fisher tient une bonne place dans la lutte pour la reconnaissance des droits des personnes LGBT.
Il co-produit et anime le grand concert de la Marche des Fiertés de Paris, Place de la Bastille de 2009 à aujourd’hui.
Il crée, en partenariat avec la Mairie de Paris, et avec son ami Tony Vancraeyenest - le Paris Circuit Party Festival, premier Festival Clubbing et culturel de dimension international en plein cœur de Paris, nécessitant un réseau complexe de relations, ainsi qu’un véritable savoir faire dans l’organisation d’évènements festifs. Beaucoup lui emboiteront le pas depuis.

Ses rencontres, ses croyances, ses intuitions font de Denny Fisher, un homme entier, sincère et droit, guidé par son humanisme.

Aujourd’hui, son expression artistique passe par le dessin. Ses graphes représentent sa vision « sexuée », du monde et des personnalités qui l’entourent. (*2)

Denny s’exprime aussi par la musique, au travers de dj mixes et de chansons qu’il interprète et dont il est auteur et le compositeur pour la plus part. (*3)

Les années 2000 sont celles de sa rencontre avec Xavier Seulmand (*4) DJ, réalisateur et compositeur. Leur collaboration se met en place rapidement. Leur complicité artistique permet à chacun d’exprimer son art et sa personnalité. Denny co-produit, début 2013, un premier album EXCESS, entièrement composé par Xavier, sur lequel il signe un mix de l’album. 
Leur premier titre en commun : « Un être d’Amour », est interprété pour la première fois par Denny, Place de la Bastille, lors de la Marche des Fiertés 2013 (GayPride) à Paris, à l’occasion de l’obtention du « Mariage gay » devant 50 000 personnes.


(*1) JR est à l’origine, en France, de l’émergence de la House Music, et de l’utilisation massive des synthés et fondent des groupes mythiques tels que «Les Nouvelles Créatures» ou «Bass Academy», de la toute première compilation House française « PURE » sortie chez DELABEL… JR participe à la mise en place des toutes premières séquences d’automation pour les premières consoles numériques chez Steinberg et collabore avec les plus grands dj et ingénieurs du moment à Round House (London) ou à Quad (NY) : Moralès, Vasquez, Tenaglia, James Reynolds et bien d’autres.

The 2000s are those of his meeting with Xavier Seulmand (* 4) DJ, producer and composer. Their collaboration is taking place rapidly. Their artistic collaboration allows everyone to express his art and personality. Denny co-produced, beginning in 2013, EXCESS first album composed entirely by Xavier, where he signed a mix of the album.
Their first song together: "Un Être d’Amour" is performed for the first time by Denny, Place de la Bastille, during the Gay Pride 2013 (Gay Pride) in Paris, on the occasion of obtaining "gay Marriage" in front of 50 000 people.
